1). Selected greyhounds undertaking solo training trials were subjected to having a sample of urine taken for the purpose of out of competition testing.

FLASHBACK FRED (5) - jostled with NAYA BALE in the run to the first bend. Checked in the run to the finish hampering MAYHEM MADE as a consequence. before being obligated to check off heels. NAYA BALE (6) - jostled with FLASHBACK FRED in the run to the first bend. Shifted down the track in the run to the finish checking FLASHBACK FRED. KNOW KERATIC (7) - checked off heels entering the first bend.
Race 2	mayhounds.org.nz Rehoming Group Sprint - C2 - 295	GOLDSTAR JUSTICE (1) - shifted ground approaching the bend. HOMEBUSH YOSHI (2) - crowded entering the bend. KNOW BEAST (5) - boxed first. Jostled with KNOW BEAST approaching the bend having to check for a stride. AMURI EARLY (6) - jostled with KNOW BEAST approaching the bend. ONESIE (7) - slow early stages.
Race 3	Balcairn Stockfoods & CopRice Dog Food Dash - C2 - 295	HOMEBUSH VASSY (4) - slow early. FLY HIGH BUDDY (5) - awkwardly positioned to the outside of GOLDSTAR VALE entering the bend losing ground. GOLDSTAR ARIA (6) - checked and lost momentum entering the bend. HOMEBUSH DREAM (7) - Stewards questioned the improved performance of this greyhound with connections advising that the bitch benefitted from a recent downgrade and is more suited to outside draws which it received today. STUMPY BILL (8) - slow early. Hampered and forced to race wide entering the bend.
Race 4	Dyna Elwyn @ Stud Sprint - C1 - 295	MUSTARD CUSTARD (A Joyce) was a late scratching at kenneling with a cut webbing. WAIPARI (1) - slow early. SMASH DRAGON (2) - shifted up the track rounding the bend. OPA'S MATE (3) - obligated to shift inwards off heels prior to exiting the bend losing ground. Precautionary Veterinarian examination revealed no injury. GOLDSTAR TOOKIE (8) - slow early.
Race 5	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C1 - 295	KING KALI (1) - slow early. HOMEBUSH JETHRO (2) - hindquarters raced on early stages. GOLDEN KIWI (4) - raced on the hindquarters of HOMEBUSH JETHRO early stages. Shouldered with TANE MAHUTA entering the bend. SOZIN'S PRINCESS (5) - shifted in off heels exiting the bend. TANE MAHUTA (6) - slow early. Shouldered with GOLDEN KIWI entering the bend. Shifted up the track exiting the bend. GOLDSTAR FARRYN (7) - slow early. Held up on heels rounding the bend.
Race 6	Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C1 - 295	SUGAR TIME (1) - box first. GOING GORILLAS (3) - shouldered with LONELY GUY in the run to the bend. Crowded and lost ground entering the bend. Raced wide rounding the bend. LONELY GUY (4) - shouldered with GOING GORILLAS in the run to the bend. Crowded and lost momentum entering the bend. Shifted off heels exiting the bend. EL PADRINO (6) - slow early. HOMEBUSH CARTER (8) - boxed first.
Race 7	Steve Anngow Drapes & Blinds Ph0272719588 Sprint - C1 - 295	AMURI RURU (1) - crowded entering the bend losing ground. HOMEBUSH GRIMMEN (2) - collided with HALSWELL HUSTLE early stages. HALSWELL HUSTLE (4) - collided with HOMEBUSH GRIMMEN early stages. YANIRA BALE (5) - contacted from the outside by FEAR ALL POUNAMU early stages. KING KONG BLONDE (6) - placed in restricted room early stages. FEAR ALL POUNAMU (8) - collided with YANIRA BALE early stages placing KING KONG BLONDE in restricted room as a consequence. GOLDSTAR BINGO (10/7) - assessed by vet after an incident at the lure and found to have a laceration to a shoulder with a 5 day stand down recommended.
Race 8	Camside Stud Stakes - SPECA - 520	OPAWA WEB (1) - slow early before being forced to race on the hindquarters of DOUBLE MAJOR. DOUBLE MAJOR (2) - forced down onto OPAWA WEB early stages. Raced on the heels of OPAWA DUCHESS entering the first bend. HELSINKI (3) - forced DOUBLE MAJOR down onto OPAWA WEB early stages. DIAMOND ROSETTE (5) - checked entering the first bend losing ground. OPAWA DUCHESS (6) - checked from behind entering the first bend losing ground. ROSA JEWEL (7) - hampered entering the first bend losing ground.
Race 9	Crate & Barrel Hotel Stakes - C2 - 520	MEATLOAF (3) - slow early. XABIL BALE (4) - crowded entering the first bend racing on the hindquarters of NIGHTHAWK JET and forcing FRANK to course wide. Assessed by vet and found to have a sprained toe with a 5 day stand down recommended. FRANK (6) - obligated to course wide first bend. NIGHTHAWK JET (8) - hindquarters raced on entering the first bend.
Race 10	Flair Sprint - C2 - 295	HOMEBUSH HONEY (1) - placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground. GOLDSTAR ZAGAR (3) - shouldered with MISS MADRID in the run to the bend. BOOTSTRAP BILL (4) - boxed first. Slow early. MISS MADRID (5) - shouldered with GOLDSTAR ZAGAR in the run to the bend. NIGHTHAWK SWIFT (9/2) - crowded the racing room od HOMEBUSH HONEY entering the bend.
Race 11	O'Shea's Public House Dash - C2 - 295	GOLDSTAR WHITEY (2) - placed in restricted room entering the bend. GOLDSTAR SMILES (3) - crowded entering the bend losing ground. Heels raced on rounding the bend. ANGRY PETE (6) - Stewards questioned the improved performance of this greyhound with connections advising the dog gets stressed before races but was much more relaxed today and this together with its recent downgrade aided in improving its performance. GOLDSTAR DAWSON (8) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend losing momentum. Raced on heels rounding the bend.
Race 12	Racing Again 3 February @ 4.32pm Sprint - R/A - 295	GOLDSTAR ANGE (2) - slow early. AMURI LUCK (3) - coursed wide through the run home. AMURI FURY (4) - severely checked and lost ground entering the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. BARBER CUBED (5) - crowded and raced on the hindquarters of MACCY's GIRL in the run to the bend. Inconvenienced entering the bend coursing wide as a consequence. HOMEBUSH CHLOE (6) - slow early. Appeared lame upon retrieval from the lure with a subsequent Veterinarian examination revealing no injury. MACCY'S GIRL (8) - crowded BARBER CUBED in the run to the bend having its hindquarters raced on as a consequence. Checked and lost ground entering the bend. Checked off heels rounding the bend.
