Race 1	TAB Bonus Back This Weekend C1 - C1 - 457	BIG TIME GRENADE (1) - in the run to the bend he was contacted in behind and jostled losing some momentum. LAR GRAND OAKS (2) - fav- soon after the start she shifted outwards and was contacted and pushed sideways as BIG TIME PEGGY ran into her. She was clipped from behind soon after but was going strongly enough to keep her ground. BIG TIME CHASE (3) - dwelt at the jump. Soon after he was jostled losing some momentum. Made ground along the inner into the midfield only battled in the run to the line. ADOBE BETTY (4) - severely tightened and checked soon after the start as runners cut in across her line. She was crowded and forced back bumping with BIG TIME PEGGY becoming awkwardly placed losing some ground into the bend BIG TIME TIARA (6) - contact and unbalanced racing from the start as BIG TIME NAVY cut across her line. BIG TIME NAVY (7) - checked racing from the start. Recovered quickly to race up handy into the bend. BIG TIME PEGGY (8) - angled sharply across the face of several runners from the jump running into the side of LAR GRAND OAKS. She carried on inwards catching heels and checking and bumping with ADOBE BETTY entering the bend losing ground to the rear.
Race 2	Greyhounds Make Great Pets C2 - C2 - 457	UNCLE ALBERT (6) - soon after the start he drifted back to the rear and was observed to be uncomfortable in his galloping action into and around the bend finishing a margin in the rear ta the line and was referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the left supraspinatus muscle a 7 day stand down was recommended. Performance noted.
Race 3	Join Mark & Andy on SENZ 11am Sunday Distance C2 - C2d - 660	EDDIE EVEREST (1) - began awkwardly and knuckled over for a stride or so losing his initial momentum. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. FINE INTENTION (4) - finishing strongly in the latter stages making contact with the hind of NANGAR RIDGE just short of the line. HE'S ALI (5) - checked out off heels in the run around the first bend. Ran wide into the back straight angling into the far bend and made ground to the line. HIGHVIEW NESS (7) - raced wide into and around the first bend into the back straight. Angled wide into the far bend losing ground and finished in the rear at the line.
Race 4	NI Championship Final (Group 2) Here 25th March C3/C4 - C3/4 - 457	BIG TIME ELSA (2) - forced to check off heels losing some ground in the run to the home turn. RHODES WORTHY (3) - contact and hampered entering the bend. BROKE BRAD (5) - angled into the bend and was checked and tightened in onto the hind of RHODES WORTHY and further checked and jostled between runners coming back off heels losing momentum and ground. ALLEGRO MARS (6) - hampered at the start as ENTREE ONLY raced across his line. Angled into the bend bumping with BROKE BAD and was unbalanced losing ground. ENTREE ONLY (7) - ran across the line of ALLEGRO MARS racing from the start. Angled to avoid heels across the top bend ran wide into the home straight.
Race 5	PNGRC Sectional Times @ pngreyhounds.kiwi C0 - C0 - 410	ALLEGRO ROYAL (1) - fav- settled handy .Ran outwards nearing the home turn pushing ALLEGRO CHEEK wide as he marred this runner. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. He has been stood down for marring ( 1st offence ) 28 days and to the completion of a satisfactory trial ALLEGRO CHEEK (5) - led into and across the top bend. Hampered and pushed wide on the home turn when marred by inside runner losing her momentum and ground finishing in the midfield at the line. BIG TIME GLOSS (7) - stood in the boxes when the lids lifted and was last away by a margin. She was unable to get into contention thereafter finishing a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet and cleared of injury. Performance has been noted.
Race 6	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C1 - C1 - 410	BIG TIME MAY (1) - angled wide across the top bend and raced extremely wide thereafter to the line. BIG TIME TINK (4) - looking to improve into the bend running into the hind of ALLEGRO BOW and was held up for a few strides at this point. HINT OF MINT (6) - the stewards checked the length of the lure for some metres in the run onto the top bend , after consideration the stewards were satisfied no dogs were affected and the payout was authorized. The lure drive was spoken to and reminded to maintain a distance as per the rules. BIG TIME RAFE (7) - checked into the bend and unbalanced as BIG TIME NOAH was pushed outwards onto him. He was obligated to race wide to the home straight covering extra ground in the running. BIG TIME NOAH (8) - checked into the bend and bumped outwards onto BIG TIME RAFE becoming awkwardly placed for a couple of strides. ALLEGRO BOW (10/5) - contact in the hindquarters in the hindquarters and unbalanced entering the bend.
Race 7	Total Bodyshop Supplies C1 - C1 - 410	JUST LIKE LUCY was a late scratching due to a seasonal complaint. ADOBE PEBBLES (1) - checked into the bend and lost ground as BIG TIME CRUSADE crossed her line to the rail. BIG TIME CRUSADE (3) - angled across the line of ADOBE PEBBLES checking this runner on entering the bend. BIG TIME BALLET (4) - bumped soon after the start as WONDER ran inwards. Forced to check abruptly out over heels entering the bend .Severely hampered when galloped on and partially dragged down on the top bend losing ground back to the rear. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. WONDER (6) - ran inwards from the jump on to BIG TIME BALLET. Checked into the bend as BIG TIME CARNAGE checked outwards. Ran onto the hind of BIG TIME BALLET across the top bend and lost momentum finishing towards the rear at the line. BIG TIME BEKIM (9/8) - began awkwardly and was last into stride by 5 lengths. he angled inwards into the bend and made good ground thereafter to the line.
Race 8	Outback Trading Company C1/C2 - C1/2 - 410	JILLIBY SOPHIA (1) - attempted to angle outwards soon after the start and was pushed back inwards tightening in onto BIG TIME REWARD as they ran into the bend. She made strong ground in the latter stages to the line. BIG TIME REWARD (3) - soon after the start he angled to the rail and was tightened brushing the rail for a couple of strides entering the bend. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. BIG TIME MOSSY (5) - jostled with BIG TIME VIOLET for some strides in the run into the bend, soon after checked and lost several lengths when coming off the heels of BIG TIME VIOLET going back to the rear finishing a margin back at the line. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. OPAWA GRAVEL (6) - angled across in the run towards the bend pushing LILLIBY SOPHIA in onto BIG TIME REWARD for a few strides. BIG TIME VIOLET (8) - forced to race widest into the bend and jostled with BIG TIME MOSSY for some strides.
Race 9	Big Barrel Palmerston North Final C2 - C2f - 410	SUPER GOLD (4) - became awkwardly placed and unbalanced for a couple of strides entering the bend. Checked and went sideways for a stride or so soon after straightening for the line losing momentum. VAN IVAN (9/5) - hampered in the run across the top bend losing some momentum. Came together and bumped with SUPER GOLD soon after straightening for the run to the line. KIOSK (10/3) - best away, lost ground into the bend as he attempted angle outwards. Severely checked when losing ground in the run towards the home turn and finished a margin in the rear at the line. He was referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the long head of triceps muscle right side. A 10 day stand down was recommended.
Race 10	KiwiKiwi Hounds Adoption C4/C5 - C4/5 - 410	BIG TIME RIDGE was up 2.3 kgs - vetted clear to start - first start since 19-11-2021 BEES AND BIRDS (1) - racing from the start he pushed outwards onto OPAWA GYPSY and CHECK ME OUT. He raced widest into and around the bend making ground in the run to the line. OPAWA GYPSY (2) - checked and pushed outwards soon after the start as BEES AND BIRDS BIG TIME HARPER (3) - hampered when checked into the bend as BIG TIME RIDGE angled inwards to avoid heels. BIG TIME RIDGE (4) - away well raced handy to the top bend drifted soon after finishing a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet and was cleared of injury. The connections were asked for a comment and advised the stewards that the dog has been trialing well with a forward showing expected today. Performance noted. CHECK ME OUT (6) - soon after the start as he angled across he was bumped and pushed outwards for some strides. He was last into the bend and angled inwards being held up for some distance when attempting to clear heels and finished towards the rear at the line.
Race 11	Greyhound As Pets C3/C4 - C3/4 - 410	ALLEGRO ZAC (3) - went up as the lids lifted and was slow into stride. Came back off heels entering the bend and lost ground. Finished in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet and was cleared of injury. MR FARENHEIT (6) - fav- raced wide as per his usual racing style covering extra ground making good ground to the line.
Race 12	Dog Speed on SENZ 11am Sunday C3 - C3 - 410	BIG TIME POPPET (1) - fav- soon after the start she was tightened and jostled for some strides. Settled in behind the leader. ALLEGRO MADDIE (2) - bumped and jostled for some strides in the run towards the bend losing a couple of lengths. BIG TIME SCOOTER (3) - began awkwardly for a couple of strides. Settled midfield clear run onto the top bend came together with BIG TIME FLAME turning in when attempting to push outwards was unable to make ground to the line PENNY MOWHAWK (5) - handy when checked and became awkwardly placed and unbalanced racing into the bend going out and bumping with BIG TIME HOTSHOT losing momentum and ground. BIG TIME FLAME (6) - crowded between runners entering the bend. looking to improve into the home straight and was hampered as BIG TIME SCOOTER attempted to push outwards. BIG TIME HOTSHOT (8) - awkwardly away for a couple of strides. Became awkwardly placed when avoiding heels racing wide into the bend.
