HOMEBUSH CRYSTAL (3) - ran inwards back straight tightening inside runners. LUCKY LUCIANO (5) - awkwardly away losing ground. GOLDSTAR CARLITO (7) - slow in early stages. HOMEBUSH NUGGET (9/1) - tightened by outside runners back straight dropping to the rear. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. Performance noted.

MYSTERIOUS LADY (4) - pushed down track by TIGGERLONG PAT back straight then checked off that runner's heels into bend losing ground. WHITMAN (6) - slow in early stages. Checked by BILLY BUDD in run home losing ground. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. TIGGERLONG PAT (7) - ran inwards back straight pushing MYSTERIOUS LADY down track and had that runner check off its heels into bend. CLAWS IN ROCKY (8) - pushed wide around bend.
