Palmerston North GRC - 11 February 2022.

1). Stewards have concluded their inquiries regarding the handling of ROCK ON ANNIE by Co-Trainer G Fredrickson in the race day kennels prior to Race 3 which lead to the greyhound being declared a late scratching.
It was established that Mr Fredrickson had covertly wiped the vulva area of this bitch in the race day kennels to potentially hide that it was in season. As a consequence, Stewards issued Mr Fredrickson with a change under GRNZ Rule 62.1(o) in that he did an improper act. After taking into consideration evidence and submissions from Stewards and Mr Fredrickson the Adjudicative Committee imposied a fine of $800.00
