Auckland GRC - 10 April 2022

1) - HEDGE HUNTER (R Roper) was found to be lame following a pre race trial and presented to the veterinarian the following day where it was found to have a suspected right hind metatarsal fracture with x-rays recommended. Stood down for 42 days and required to trial prior to resuming.

Hampered first turn and forced wide losing ground. Inconvenienced final bend. BARNEY PARROT (8) - collided back straight and again on several occasions first turn. THRILLING TEMPER (9/3) - bumped after the start. Tightened and hampered back straight losing ground. Hampered first turn and forced wide losing ground.

BIG TIME STAR (2) - contact for a distance throughout the back straight and entering the first turn losing ground. NEXT OFF (3) - tightened making contact for a distance after the start losing ground. Tightened making contact for a distance rounding the first turn losing ground. ZIPPING HEWITT (4) - tightened making contact for a distance after the start losing ground. Tightened making contact for a distance rounding the first turn losing ground. BIG TIME EDDIE (5) - angled in making contact throughout the back straight. PITCH MARK (6) - collided after the start. PORTELLI PUNK (7) - slow away. Inconvenienced first turn shifting wider. ALLEGRO RORY (8) - collided after the start shifting in across heels losing ground. Angled in making contact for a distance first turn.

ALLEGRO ZIPPY (4) - contact for a distance first turn then dragged down becoming badly unbalanced losing all chance. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
