Race 12	Dog Speed on SENZ 11am Sunday C2/C3 - C2/3 - 410	SCREAMING VIKING was re-vetted after concerns regarding a possible bee-sting sustained before kenneling. The veterinarian cleared him to start in the race. SCREAMING VIKING (1) - placed in restricted space during the run to the bend, jostling with THRILLING BANDIT before contacting the rail and then abruptly shifting out across his heels into the path of JILLIBY SOPHIA and contacting the hindquarters of BIG TIME GIRLY. Referred to the veterinarian and cleared of injury. JILLIBY SOPHIA (2) - crowded when entering the bend and was obligated to check off the heels of BIG TIME GIRLY. Shunted by SCREAMING VIKING into the path of PENNY MOWHAWK when entering the bend, losing momentum. THRILLING BANDIT (3) - shifted down the track when approaching the bend, jostling with SCREAMING VIKING and WONDER, becoming unbalanced for a number of strides. Continued to jostle with SCREAMING VIKING and had hindquarters galloped on while entering the bend. JUST LIKE LUCY (4) - shifted up the track in the early stages and coursed wide thereafter. BIG TIME GIRLY (5) - awkwardly away. Jostled with PENNY MOWHAWK along the back straight. Shifted up the track when entering the bend and was contacted by SCREAMING VIKING. Coursed wide when exiting the bend and along the home straight. BIG TIME HOTSHOT (6) - tightened in the early stages. Dictated wide while rounding the bend and continued wide thereafter. PENNY MOWHAWK (7) - jostled with BIG TIME GIRLY along the back straight. Dictated wide when entering the bend before being shunted by JILLIBY SOPHIA, losing momentum. WONDER (8) - shifted down the track along the back straight, jostling with THRILLING BANDIT while entering the bend. Faltered free of interference, losing considerable ground thereafter and appearing awkward in her action. Referred to the veterinarian where she was reported to have either torn right hock ligaments or an un-displaced right hock fracture, with x-rays needed to confirm. A 42 day stand down was recommended. She must complete an injury trial prior to resuming racing.
