Race 1	Follow Waikato Greyhounds on Facebook Sprint - C0 - 375	THRILLING MEG scratched change of trainer. PORTLAND GRACE (3) - racing towards the bend she angled out across heels racing wide into the bend then forced to check off heels losing some momentum. SWEET MIX (4) - racing from the start he was dictated inwards then severely checked into the bend losing all chance thereafter. ISAMBARD (5) - fav- checked at the start. Jostled with SWEET MIX for some strides then checked and galloped on into the bend losing all chance thereafter. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. CUT AND DRY (6) - contact racing from the start when coming together with ISAMBARD. Contact into the bend as THRILLING ZIGGY angled inwards. THRILLING ZIGGY (8) - contacted hind quarters entering the bend , soon after hampered for a couple of strides in the run across the top bend when clipped form behind.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Jared Udy - C1 - 375	BEAUDEN JOHN (2) - dwelt at the jump. Settled in the rear raced wide around the bend OPAWA MEG (7) - hampered entering the bend as DUBSTEP angled inwards. DUBSTEP (8) - angled inwards into the bend across the line of OPAWA MEG. BAILEY AND CREAM (9/5) - hampered when placed awkwardly entering the bend losing some momentum.
Race 3	Mayhounds Greyhound Rehoming Group Sprint - C1 - 375	LAGOON GRETA (5) - improving into the home straight when checked losing momentum as WAITERIMU RIPPER angled in across her line. She lost momentum and ground. WAITERIMU RIPPER (8) - improving around the home turn into the home straight and angled in across the line of LAGOON GRETA. RAIN AND SHINE (9/2) - dwelt and was slow into stride.
Race 4	Virkon*S Disinfectant Sprint - C2 - 375	SMOKIN' CHIMNEY (3) - angled across the line of HOMEBUSH LUTHER nearing the home turn. RAMBLIN' HARDY (4) - raced wide around the bend into the home straight. GREAT WORK (6) - angled inwards entering the bend across the line of PORTLAND TIMMY. HOMEBUSH LUTHER (7) - hampered briefly coming off the mats as PORTLAND TIMMY ran across his heels. Hampered and held up nearing the home turn as SMOKIN' CHIMNEY angled across her line. PORTLAND TIMMY (8) - dwelt then checked as he ran across the hind of HOMEBUSH LUTHER coming off the mats .He settled in the rear and was checked and lost momentum into the bend as GREAT WORK angled in across his line. He ran wide nearing the home turn finishing in the rear at the line. Referred to the vet and was cleared of injury.
Race 5	Farmlands CopRice Sprint - C1 - 375	THRILLING TUCKER (1) - in the run towards the bend he was bumped and was unbalanced ,then tightened going back a couple of lengths. Made ground arcoss the top bend to the line. PORTLAND JAKE (2) - contact soon after the start going in onto and bumping with THRILLING TUCKER for a couple of strides. LAGOON TAUPY (3) - contact soon after the start and went inwards bumping with PORTLAND JAKE for a couple of strides. HARDCORE BRUTE (5) - ran into tight quarters forced to abruptly check outwards racing extremely wide thereafter losing all chance. SCOOBY BLUE (6) - angled across from the start running in onto LAGOON TAUPO. Racing in tight quarters onto the top bend when climbing on heels checking outwards racing extremely wide losing all chance thereafter. BRANDI CHASER (8) - dictated extremely wide in the run onto the top bend. VEGAS CHOPS (9/4) - went up in the boxes as the lids lifted. Improved into the bend and was tightened and checked going back several lengths.
Race 6	Garrards Horse & Hound Sprint - C2 - 375	BOOT CAMP TIARA (1) - bumped and jostled for some strides with TEN AFTER FOUR for some strides in the run towards the bend. TEN AFTER FOUR (2) - bumped and jostled with BOOT CAMP TIARA for some strides in the run to the bend. WHO IS COOPER (4) - referred to the vet post race and was found to have a strained/sore hip support muscle with a 21 day stand down recommended. EYE SPY LUNA (5) - checked soon after the start and was further hampered when angling in across heels. Angled wide to improve around runners and was dictated extremely wide into the home straight losing all chance. DIAMOND TIGER (6) - contact soon after the start and was bumped and jostled between runners for some distance in the run to the bend. he improved in the run to the home bend where he dictated the line of EYE SPY LUNA forcing this runner wide as they straightened. BIG TIME KOBE (8) - angled across abruptly from the jump running into DIAMOND TIGER and jostled with this runner for some strides before coming back off the hind of this runner losing momentum and ground finishing in the rear at the line. Referred to the vet and was cleared of injury.
Race 7	Affordable Pet Accessories Sprint - C3 - 375	SMASH FIT was a late scratching on vets advice. CLARK'S A LARK (3) - dwelt and was last into stride by several lengths. Improving around runners when bumping and jostling with BATTLE CRUISER ,then came together with LOYAL REDEEMER as they turned into the home straight. LOYAL REDEEMER (4) - contact and severely tightened and checked into the bend going back some lengths towards the rear Came together with CLARKS A LARK turning into the home straight. Referred to the vet and was cleared of injury. SHONKY STICKER (6) - angled across into the bend severely tightening LOYAL REDEEMER for a couple of strides. BATTLE CRUISER (7) - hampered racing into the bend as GO AHEAD CALLER angled in across his line. Tightened and checked back from between runners nearing the home turn. GO AHEAD CALLER (8) - angled in across the line of BATTLECRUISER as they raced into the bend.
Race 8	Vetora Cambridge Sprint - C5 - 375	BEAU BEAU (3) - contact and pushed sideways for a couple of strides as they entered the bend. He lost some momentum and ground. He angled inwards into the home straight causing severe tightening to OPAWA PHIL to his inner for a couple of strides. He collapsed at the lure and was referred to the vet and was found to have cramped severely .He soon recovered and was cleared of injury. OPAWA PHIL (4) - Contact soon after the start. Severely crowded and checked losing momentum entering the bend. Hampered when tightened and brushed the rail into the home straight. Referred to the vet and was found to have skin wounds right stopper pads/ right 4th toe both requiring staples. a 10 day stand down was recommended. GOLDEN FERN (5) - crowded and dictated inwards racing from the start. CALF KING (7) - angled across into the bend and was pushed sideways when coming together with BEAU BEAU as this runner was pushed outwards. He lost momentum and ground back towards the rear .
Race 9	Mike Stent Decorators Ltd Stakes - C3/4 - 457	OPAWA ROWAN (2) - jumped outwards onto SHAYANNA as they left the boxes and was jostled for some strides in the run towards the bend. Came back off heels and checked outwards running into BRICKMAN was became awkwardly placed losing momentum and ground . SHAYANNA (3) - hampered coming off the mats as OPAWA ROWN angled outwards and was jostled for some strides in the run towards the bend. BRICKMAN (4) - hampered racing off the mats as SHAYANNA was pushed outwards onto his shoulder and jostled with this runner for some strides in the run towards the bend. Checked severely into the bend losing all chance thereafter. SERBIAN ACE (7) - contact with OPAWA ROWAN entering the bend for a stride or so.
Race 10	Farmlands Virkon Sprint - C4 - 375	DARK HAZARD (3) - came together and bumped hard with ROCKED IT for some strides in the run around the bend towards the home turn. ROCKED IT (4) - hampered nearing the home turn when bumped and pushed sideways becoming unbalanced losing momentum and ground. Was unable to make ground to the line.
