Judicial report: General:

1). Selected greyhounds competing in solo training trials were required to provide a sample of urine for the purpose of out of competition testing.

2). WHIMSICAL BOY (J Allen) - urine sample taken following it being a fill-in for todays qualifying trial.

3). PUKEKO LIGHTS (B Healey) - hair sample taken following its qualifying trial.

Late Scratchings:

1). RAZOR RUFUS (A Bradshaw) - Travel sickness

Race 1	www.southlandgreyhounds.co.nz - R/A - 390	AMURI FURY (1) - shouldered with MONEY BAGS in the run to the bend. HOMEBUSH SIRIUS (2) - hindquarters raced on early stages. AMURI PATTI (3) - placed in restricted room early stages making contact with the hindquarters of HOMEBUSH SIRIUS. Had a 7 day incapacitation issued when found to have swelling to its left semitendinosus after escaping its trailer compartment prior to race 5 and making its way to the race track. MONEY BAGS (4) - shouldered with AMURI FURY in the run to the bend. AMURI ROCK (5) - boxed first. Slow early.
Race 2	BOLTY AT STUD - C0 - 390	JOKES ON US (1) - boxed first. slow early before racing on the hindquarters of MR MUGGINS and being dictated down the track. Checked off heels rounding the bend. MR MUGGINS (3) - hindquarters raced on early stages by JOKES ON YOU. Crowded for racing room entering the bend losing momentum. HOMEBUSH SHADOW (7) - considerably slow to jump effectively taking no part in the event with a warning being issued for it's box manners.
Race 3	INVERCARGILL MAIDEN DASH - C0 - 390	HOMEBUSH CHEEKY (1) - crowded entering the bend having to check and lose ground. Checked outwards off heels rounding the bend. HOMEBUSH SADIE (2) - contacted the hindquarters of HOMEBUSH LENNON exiting the bend. HOMEBUSH OPAL (3) - shouldered with HOMEBUSH DOVE in the run to the bend. Placed in restricted room entering the bend. HOMEBUSH SASSY (4) - considerably slow to jump with a warning being issued for it's box manners. LIGHT ME UP (5) - lost momentum when having its heels clipped entering the bend. HOMEBUSH DOVE (6) - shouldered with HOMEBUSH OPAL in the run to the bend. Placed in tight quarters entering the bend clipping the heels of LIGHT ME UP losing ground as a consequence. HOMEBUSH LENNON (7) - crowded and obligated to check off heels entering the bend losing ground. Turned outwards after having its hindquarters contacted exiting the bend.
Race 4	ADDED ENERGY STAKES - C2/3 - 457	BELLE AME (2) - dictated outwards onto BEAU VIEW WINNIE in the run to the bend. BEAU VIEW WINNIE (4) - checked and lost balance in the run to the bend losing ground. Precautionary Veterinarian examination revealed no abnormalities. LIGHTFOOT LUNA (5) - proved difficult to box. Hampered in the run to the bend.
Race 5	[email protected] - C1 - 390	LET'S GO YOYO (1) - crowded entering the bend losing momentum. FRANK (2) - hampered entering the bend. IMPRESSIVE MARIO (5) - hampered entering the bend becoming awkwardly positioned between runners and losing ground. WRINKLY WAYNE (6) - hindquarters brushed early stages. HOMEBUSH NOAH (7) - slow away brushing the hindquarters of WRINKLY WAYNE BREE'S BELLA (8) - lost ground when awkwardly positioned to the outside of IMPRESSIVE MARIO entering the bend.
Race 6	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C1 - 390	IMPRESSIVE AMY (4) - boxed first. Shouldered briefly with HOMEBUSH SABRE early stages and again approaching the bend. HOMEBUSH SABRE (6) - shouldered briefly with IMPRESSIVE AMY early stages and again approaching the bend.
Race 7	DUAL-CODE SPRINT - C1 - 390	HOMEBUSH ENBECK (3) - slow early. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend. HOMEBUSH VASSY (5) - checked from behind entering the bend. MAYFIELD MANU (6) - slow early.
Race 8	SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C4/5 - 457	BEST BALL (7) - hampered entering the bend before clipping the heels of PEPPER CHIMES. PEPPER CHIMES (8) - came down onto BEST BALL entering the bend hampering this runner before having its heels clipped.
Race 9	MARK TURNER PAINTER PH021737111 - C2 - 390	KIPJO (1) - crowded and obligated to check entering the bend. HOMEBUSH LEAH (4) - appeared to race on the running rail entering the bend losing ground. Continued to lose ground there after. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Notwithstanding this the performance was noted. AMURI SPOT (5) - collided with SIR CLIVE early stages. SIR CLIVE (6) - collided with AMURI SPOT early stages. LONELY GEMMA (8) - slow early.
Race 10	AMERICAN WARRIOR T.R. 25.57 AT STUD - C5 - 390	RAZOR RUFUS (A Bradshaw) was a late scratching at 9.06am HOMEBUSH JETHRO (2) - slow early. BUSTER'S BROTHER (3) - crowded rounding the bend bumping the hindquarters of PEGGY LU. ARAMOANA (4) - coursed with throughout the run to the finish. PEGGY LU (5) - hindquarters bumped rounding the bend. MADE THE CUT (6) - jostled with MONTY MAD HAMMER prior to the finish line. MONTY MAD HAMMER (7) - slow early. Jostled with MADE THE CUT prior to the finish line.
Race 11	OTAGO GREYHOUND RACING CLUB DASH - C3/4 - 390	CUPID'S DAY (2) - crowded and lost momentum entering the bend. CAESAR LIES (3) - jostled briefly with HELSINKI early stages. Bumped with this runner approaching the bend. THUNDER HALLOWS (4) - raced in restricted room early stages. HELSINKI (5) - turned outwards early stages when placing THUNDER HALLOWS in restricted room before jostling briefly with CAESAR LIES. Bumped with this runner approaching the bend.
Race 12	RACING AGAIN 19th JUNE - C3 - 390	HOMEBUSH CARDI (1) - crowded and obligated to check off heels rounding the bend hampering MISS MADRID. HOMEBUSH GRIMMEN (2) - checked from behind approaching the bend. HOMEBUSH STASSER (6) - lost ground when unbalance coming off the matts. MISS MADRID (7) - shifted down the track early stages making contact with the hindquarters of MR FESTUS. Hampered rounding the bend. MR FESTUS (9/4) - hindquarters raced on early stages. Placed in restricted room entering the bend having to check and lose ground.
