Race 1	INVERCARGILL MAIDEN DASH - C0 - 390	ALPACA LUNCH (1) - crowded entering the bend being obligated to climb on the heels of IDOL HIT before being dragged down itself by MR MUGGINS losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. MR MUGGINS (3) - crowded early stages. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend losing momentum. HARRY BAXTER (4) - shifted down the track abruptly on jumping crowding MR MUGGINS as a consequence. IDOL HIT (5) - crowded the racing room of ALPACA LUNCH entering the bend being dragged down and losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. HOMEBUSH THEO (8) - proved difficult to load with this to be monitored in its upcoming starts.
Race 2	Astro's First Race - C0 - 390	JOKES ON US (1) - shouldered with PUKEKO LIGHTS early stages. Shifted outwards off heels approaching the bend jostling with HOMEBUSH SOCKS as a consequence. PUKEKO LIGHTS (2) - began awkwardly before shouldering with JOKES ON US. WAIANAKARUA GIRL (4) - crowded early stages. HOMEBUSH ROSE (5) - shifted down the track on jumping crowding WAIANAKARUA GIRL. HOMEBUSH CLASSY (7) - jostled with JOKES ON US approaching the bend. STAR SAILOR (8) - slow early stages. Awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend losing its balance for a stride.
Race 3	ORETI BEACH RUN - SPECA - 457	HOMEBUSH NOAH (1) - turned inwards entering the bend after having its hindquarters raced on by HOMEBUSH SAINT. OPTIONAL EXTRA (2) - shifted up the track in the run to the bend checking off heels in the process. Coursed wide entering the bend. HOMEBUSH SAINT (5) - contacted the hindquarters of HOMEBUSH NOAH entering the bend. HOMEBUSH OPAL (6) - hindquarters raced on approaching the bend. Coursed wide entering the bend. EPIC BLOSSOM (7) - raced on the hindquarters of HOMEBUSH OPAL approaching the bend. LET'S GO YOYO (8) - boxed first.
Race 4	SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C3/4 - 390	PURE BEDLAM (2) - bumped with SOUTHERN ANGEL on jumping. Dragged down entering the bend losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. SOUTHERN ANGEL (3) - bumped with PURE BEDLAM on jumping. Shouldered briefly with SIR CLIVE early stages. Crowded and obligated to check entering the bend. SIR CLIVE (4) - shouldered briefly with SOUTHERN ANGEL early stages. Awkwardly placed between runners entering the bend having to check and lose ground. CLAWS IN COBRA (6) - slow early. SINHA MAN (7) - slow early.
Race 5	ADDED ENERGY STAKES - C1 - 457	1). TERRY'S TERROR was a late scratching with a cut to its foot. 2). Video replay of the first 20 metres of this race were unavailable for the purpose of reporting. 3). The all clear was delayed until Stewards were afforded the opportunity to review all films in regards to the Lure losing power and as a consequence allow the lead greyhound, OPAWA WARRIOR, to get within 5 metres of it in the run to the finish line. After viewing all films Stewards, acting under GRNZ Rule 51.1, were satisfied that as a consequence of this no Greyhound has been substantially inconvenienced so as to affect the outcome of the Race and the all clear was given. PHANTOM ACE (1) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend. OPAWA WARRIOR (5) - shifted down the track towards the lure in the run to the finish after the lure had lost power. See Incident report above. SNIPPET JEWEL (6) - placed in restricted room entering the bend having to check and lose ground.
Race 6	OTAGO GREYHOUND RACING CLUB DASH - C2 - 390	LONELY GEMMA (1) - raced on the hindquarters of SIDELINE SALLY in the run to the bend. SIDELINE SALLY (2) - hindquarters raced on in the run to the bend and again entering the bend. HOMEBUSH ENBECK (3) - slow early. TIDAL TAPESTRY (4) - placed in restricted room entering the bend losing momentum. CUPID'S DAY (6) - hampered entering the bend. AMURI EARLY (7) - slow early.
Race 7	FIND US ON TWITTER@SGRCINFO - C2 - 390	LONELY TONI (1) - crowded and obligated to check off heels entering the bend. HOMEBUSH CRYSTAL (3) - slow early. KIPJO (4) - shifted off heels exiting the bend. MITCHAM KING (5) - checked inwards off heels early stages.
Race 8	TOP CLASS RUN - C5 - 457	ARAMOANA (1) - shifted off heels exiting the bend. GO JOHNNY GO (2) - began awkwardly. Crowded entering the bend. SIMON THE PIEMAN (5) - awkwardly positioned on heels entering the bend. EPIC CRUZE (8) - slow early.
Race 9	HAPPY 70TH DARRYL GARTHWAITE - C1 - 390	HOMEBUSH VASSY (2) - obligated to shift inwards off heels early stages. HOMEBUSH RIO (3) - placed in restricted room early stages having to check. HOMEBUSH JANET (5) - slow early. HOMEBUSH MACHO (6) - shifted down the track in the initial stages HOMEBUSH SHADOW (8) - sat in the boxes and was considerably slow to begin taking no part in the event. Box manners cautioned.
Race 10	PBD SPRINT - C1 - 390	MAYFIELD MANU (1) - hindquarters raced on briefly early stages. HOMEBUSH RED (3) - obligated to shift off heels early stages before briefly racing on the hindquarters of MAYFIELD MANU. HOMEBUSH DOVE (5) - shifted down the track early stages. IMPRESSIVE CHARM (7) - slow early.
Race 11	PBD SPRINT - C1 - 390	Not all films were available for the purpose of reporting this race due to technical difficulties. HOMEBUSH BLUEY (4) - jostled with SOZIN'S PRINCESS approaching the bend. DOUBLE QUEENIE (5) - shifted down the track through the initial stages. SOZIN'S PRINCESS (6) - jostled with HOMEBUSH BLUEY approaching the bend before being checked from behind by HOMEBUSH SNOW. HOMEBUSH SNOW (8) - awkwardly placed on the heels of SOZIN'S PRINCESS entering the bend losing ground.
Race 12	HAPPY 10,000 EMMA POTTS PBD SPRINT - C1 - 390	Not all films were available for the purpose of reporting this race due to technical difficulties. HOMEBUSH HARPER (2) - collided with HOMEBUSH SHADY on jumping. HOMEBUSH SHADY (3) - collided with HOMEBUSH HARPER on jumping. Shifted up the track entering the bend causing an inconvenience to HOMEBUSH VILLA who in turn forced HOMEBUSH SOLO up the track. HOMEBUSH VILLA (6) - jostled briefly with HOMEBUSH SOLO approaching the bend. Forced up the track entering the bend. JILLY BEAN (7) - slow through the run to the bend. HOMEBUSH SOLO (8) - slow early. Jostled with HOMEBUSH VILLA approaching the bend. Forced up the track entering the bend.
