General:

1). Racing Integrity Board Investigators have concluded their investigation in relation to the manner in which trainer Mr R Roper and handler Ms Y Castro conducted themselves during the process of a sample being taken from BIG TIME STORM at the Auckland GRC's meeting on the 19th June 2022. As a result of the investigation, Mr Roper and Ms Castro were issued cautions and reminded of the professional obligations.

2). Selected Greyhounds competing in training trials where required to provide samples for the purpose of Out of Competition testing.

Coursed wide rounding the bend losing ground. DONNING (6) - crowded the racing room of ALLEGRO FUDGE entering the bend being turned outwards as a consequence.
Race 3	MPS Fencing Stakes - C2/3 - 527	OPAWA ARLO (1) - came up with the lid and was slow early as a consequence. OPAWA ELEGANT (5) - collided with BUCKLAND BOY entering the first bend. OPAWA ROWAN (7) - obligated to check off heels entering the first bend. BUCKLAND BOY (8) - collided with OPAWA ELEGANT entering the first bend.
Race 4	Mayhounds Greyhound Rehoming Group PBD Sprint - C1 - 318	IRISH COLLEEN (1) - awkwardly placed to the inside of CUT AND DRY in the run to the bend. LOCHNESS BRAE (4) - collided with STEVE'S SHOUT early stages. Checked from behind entering the bend. STEVE'S SHOUT (5) - Collided with LOCHNESS BRAE early stages losing ground. Climbed on the heels of LOCHNESS BRAE entering the bend losing further ground.
Race 5	Book Your Function @ Sportsbowl Function Centre Sprint - C4 - 318	LOYAL REDEEMER (2) - race don the shoulder of ALEEGRO RORY in the run to the bend becoming awkwardly placed to the outside of this runner entering the bend. ALLEGRO RORY (3) - raced on the shoulder of LOYAL REDEEMER in the run to the bend having to check inwards off this runners heels entering the bend. PORTLAND BLONDE (4) - bumped with GOLDERN FWERN exiting the bend. GOLDEN FERN (5) - slow early. Bumped with PORTLAND BLONDE exiting the bend. OPAWA RANGER (7) - obligated to check entering the bend losing moentum.
Race 6	SENZ 1476am PBD Sprint - C1 - 318	BIG TIME FABIO (4) - shouldered with BARREL MAKER early stages. BARREL MAKER (5) - shouldered with BIG TIME FABIO early stages. Awkwardly positioned on the heels of GRUMPY JOCK entering the bend losing ground. GRUMPY JOCK (6) - crowded entering the bend before being checked from behind losing ground.
Race 7	Pump & Engineering Services Ltd Stakes - C1 - 527	OPAWA TRUMP (1) - came together with GO EVE on jumping. Raced in restricted room final bend. GO EVE (2) - came together with OPAWA TRUMP on jumping. SMASH ZONE (3) - checked off heels entering the back straight colliding with CANTON. IN THE CLINCH (6) - raced in restricted room entering the first bend. CANTON (7) - slow early. Contacted from the inside entering the back straight. THRILLING REGGIE (8) - slow early. Awkwardly positioned to the outside of IN THE CLINCH entering the first bend.
Race 8	Sportsbowl Function Centre Sprint - C2 - 318	LAGOON GRETA (2) - hindquarters raced on in the run to the bend. LAGOON TAUPY (3) - raced on the hindquarters of LAGOON GRETA in the run to the bend. Lost momentum when positioned on heels entering the bend. FOR YOU PAGE (6) - hindquarters raced on early stages. ADOBE SLICE (7) - forced to check off heels early stages. DAISY CLIPPER (8) - shifted down the track early stages contacted the hindquarters of FOR YOU PAGE. Awkwardly positioned on heel entering the bend.
Race 9	Mt Wellington TAB Stakes - C4/5 - 527	DUBLIN EXPRESS (2) - slow early. OPAWA LUCY (4) - raced in restricted room entering the first bend. SERBIAN ACE (7) - coursed wide throughout the back straight and again throughout the run to the finish.
Race 10	Hewlett Electrical Sprint - C5 - 318	PORTLAND OPAL (2) - clipped the heels of WILD KIWI approaching the bend losing ground. WILD KIWI (5) - heels clipped approaching the bend.
Race 11	Stitches Upholstery Sprint - C2/3 - 318	KETTLE POT (2) - awkward out of the boxes. PORTLAND ETHAN (3) - slow early before contacting the hindquarters of KAY'S LAST. Lost ground after contacting the running rail entering the bend. Checked off heels rounding the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. KAY'S LAST (4) - hindquarters raced on early stages. BOOT CAMP TIARA (5) - hindquarters raced on entering the bend after MAJOR MARGARET was placed in tight quarters. MAJOR MARGARET (6) - raced in tight quarters entering the bend. ZIPPING SPOOK (7) - raced in restricted room approaching the bend losing ground. GO CLIFFORD (8) - raced on the shoulder of ZIPPING SPOOK entering the bend.
