Connections advised DUBSTEP tied up over the concluding stages of the race on Thursday at Waikato GRC but had recovered well.

Raced wide for the remainder of the event. CAPPIELLO (3) - tightened making contact throughout he back straight losing ground. KAPAI WINSTON (4) - tightened making contact throughout the back straight then checked entering the first turn losing ground. RED CONQUEST (6) - tightened making contact after the start. Contacted from behind entering the first turn. PIPPILOTTA (7) - contacted from behind after the start. NOT SURE (8) - angled in after the start contacting hindquarters becoming unbalanced. Raced wide.
Race 2	Mayhounds Greyhound Rehoming Group PBD Sprint - C1 - 318	JACK SPARROW (2) - bumped after the start. Checked first turn shifting out off heels into the line of GRUMPY JOCK becoming unbalanced losing ground. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. ALLEGRO VEY (3) - bumped after the start. START BAILING (4) - bumped back straight. Tightened first turn shifting out off heels into the line of JACK SPARROW. DONNING (5) - slow away. BIG TIME CHERRY (6) - bumped back straight. GRUMPY JOCK (7) - shifted out off heels back straight. Hampered first turn getting on heels and forced wider becoming unbalanced losing ground. Veterinary examination revealed minor soreness of flexion of left wrist with a 7 day stand down imposed.
Race 3	Dog Speed Sprint - C2 - 318	GINGER MASCARA was a late scratching at kenneling when presented down 1.1kg and found to be dehydrated. BIG TIME GUCCI (3) - slow away. Settled at rear of the field shifting wide final bend. Veterinary examination revealed right deep pectoral pain with a 10 day stand down imposed. BIG TIME LAD (4) - jostled throughout the back straight. ZIPPING SPOOK (6) - bumped start. AMMONITE (7) - bumped start. MY MATE SPEIGHT (8) - raced wide. FULL OF SECRETS (9/1) - tightened making contact throughout the back straight losing ground racing toward the first turn.
Race 4	MPS Fencing PBD Sprint - C1 - 318	ALLEGRO ROBBIE (1) - bumped first turn. ALLEGRO BRYAN (2) - bumped first turn. Shifted out away from heels rounding the bend making contact. SMASH ZONE (3) - contact rounding the bend. Checked off heels rounding the bend going back onto BARREL MAKER. BIG TIME RASCAL (4) - bumped back straight. Held up final bend. BIG TIME FABIO (5) - contact several occasions back straight. BARREL MAKER (6) - contact several occasions back straight losing ground. Checked off heels rounding the bend. FORD MAN (7) - raced wide. BLAZING IMPACT (8) - began awkwardly becoming unbalanced losing considerable ground. Shifted out abruptly off heels rounding the bend.
Race 5	Great Greyhound Global Walk 25/9 Stakes - C2/3 - 527	OPAWA ELEGANT (4) - collided after the start. Jostled first turn. BIG TIME DORY (6) - tightened and hampered after the start. Tightened making contact for a distance rounding the first turn becoming awkwardly placed on the running rail losing ground. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. GREAT WORK (7) - collided after the start. Contact for a distance rounding the first turn. OPAWA ARLO (8) - jostled first turn.
Race 6	Pump & Engineering Services Ltd Stakes - C1 - 527	IN THE CLINCH (1) - jostled into the first turn when in restricted room getting contacted from behind becoming badly unbalanced losing ground. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. BUTTERFLY CHILD (2) - tightened making contact for a distance after the start. Checked first turn shifting in off heels. SWEET OFFER (3) - tightened making contact for a distance after the start. Tightened and hampered rounding the first turn becoming badly unbalanced losing ground. Contacted the running rail rounding the bend leaving the back straight losing ground. Veterinary examination revealed bruising on the left shoulder with a 10 day stand down imposed. GO EVE (4) - tightened and hampered after the start. Hampered first turn becoming badly unbalanced losing ground. JENNY HAWKE (5) - collided for a distance after the start. Race 9	Hewlett Electrical Sprint - C5 - 318	THRILLING FREDDY (1) - dictated wide rounding the bend the shifted very wide final straight. ZIPPING DEREK (2) - shifted wide final bend. BANDIT BILLY (3) - contacted from behind approaching the first turn then shifted out collided with ZOE STAR. UP YOUR QUOTA (4) - jostled after the start and again back straight. ZOE STAR (5) - jostled after the start and again back straight. Hampered first turn becoming tightened between runners becoming unbalanced then dragged down losing ground.
