General:

1) Selected greyhounds competing in solo training trials were required to provide a sample of urine for the purpose of out of competition testing.
2) Assistant Starter Mr. S Gillies was spoken to by Stewards and reminded of his obligations with regards to his professionalism when dealing with licence holders.

Continued to move up the track nearing the bend buffeting BIG TIME STICKER. Raced wide through the home straight. FROSTY ANNE (4) - contacted at the start. Tightened TANIA nearing the bend. TANIA (5) - slow away. Tightened nearing the bend, losing ground and out of contention thereafter. BIG TIME STICKER (7) - buffeted PHANTOM PIXIE nearing the bend. Raced wide for the majority of the event.
Race 2	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C0 - C0 - 375	BIG TIME HEAVEN (1) - brushed GOTCHA COBY at the start. Bumped nearing the home straight, then again entering the home straight becoming slightly unbalanced as a result. Bumped OUR WEE SOLDIER nearing the winning post when attempting to cross to the rail. GOTCHA COBY (2) - brushed BIG TIME HEAVEN at the start. Bumped entering the bend becoming unbalanced and losing some ground. Awkwardly placed on heels on the point of the bend, then bumped CLIFTON BOY, losing ground. SHAMRA (4) - bumped then heavily contacted nearing the bend, then tightened entering the bend contacting the rail and losing ground. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. CLIFTON BOY (5) - slow away. Bumped then contacted SHAMRA nearing the bend. Tightened SHAMRA entering the bend. Bumped on the point of the bend. Coursed wide entering the home straight. ALPHA SHELDON (7) - slow away. OUR WEE SOLDIER (8) - boxed first. Bumped GOTCHA COBY entering the bend. Bumped BIG TIME HEAVEN nearing then entering the home straight. Bumped nearing the winning post, becoming unbalanced as a result.
Race 3	Federal Morgan At Stud C0 - C0 - 457	THRILLING RUSH (1) - coursed wide entering the home straight. BLUE COD (2) - contacted from behind shortly after the start, then moved up the track contacting BIG TIME BRINDLE. Contacted from behind on the point of the bend. Raced wide through the home straight. BIG TIME DREAM (3) - began awkwardly then tightened and lost ground. Contacted BLUE COD from behind on the point of the bend. BIG TIME BRINDLE (6) - began awkwardly, angling across the field and tightening BIG TIME DREAM. Contacted BLUE COD shortly after the start, then contacted by BLUE COD.
Race 4	Greyhound As Pets Reverse Criteria PBD C1 - C1 - 375	STRAIGHT SHOT was a late scratching at 9.30am. OPAWA GRAVEL (1) - very slow away, and out of contention as a result. OPAWA TRUMP (4) - coursed wide entering the home straight. COMMISSAR (6) - raced wide through the latter stages of the bend and early home straight.
Race 5	$15,000 720m Distance Feature Heats Here Oct 7th C1 - C1 - 457	BIG TIME TANIWHA (1) - jostled, briefly, with BIG TIME FAYE shortly after the start. BIG TIME FAYE (2) - jostled, briefly, with BIG TIME TANIWHA shortly after the start. HIGHVIEW NESS (5) - slow away, then contacted and lost ground. Raced wide for the majority of the event. I'M NO PRINCESS (6) - began awkwardly, contacting HIGHVIEW NESS, losing ground as a result. XANTHONE (7) - coursed wide entering the home straight.
Race 6	Dog Speed on SENZ 12pm Sunday C1 - C1 - 457	BIG TIME SLAY (4) - began awkwardly, appearing to contact the side of the starting boxes. Checked entering the bend. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. ALLEGRO TICKER (6) - contacted from behind shortly after the start. BIG TIME RYDER (7) - bumped at the start, becoming unbalanced, moving inwards and contacting ALLEGRO TICKER from behind shortly after the start. Checked BIG TIME SLAY entering the bend. BROTHER PETE (8) - bumped BIG TIME RYDER at the start. Raced wide throughout.
Race 7	Outback Trading Company PBD C1 - C1 - 375	OPAWA JASON (1) - tightened at the start. Bumped entering the bend. ALLEGRO BARREL (2) - began awkwardly tightening OPAWA JASON. Bumped OPAWA JASON entering the bend. BIG TIME AUDI (3) - raced in restricted room entering the bend. KIOSK (4) - awkwardly placed between runners entering the bend becoming unbalanced and losing some momentum. Checked and shunted sideways entering the home straight. Referred to the OTV and found to have a dislocated outside left front toe with a 28 day stand down recommended. ALLEGRO TORI (6) - awkwardly placed between runners entering the bend, becoming unbalanced and bumping BIG TIME CHALKY. Improved onto heels entering the home straight, needing to move across heels to gain clear racing room, checking KIOSK in the process. BIG TIME CHALKY (7) - bumped and unbalanced entering the bend losing ground and inconveniencing AL'S CASINO as a result. AL'S CASINO (8) - inconvenienced entering the bend. Raced wide for the majority of the event.
Race 8	TAB NZ - No Deductions, No Surprises PBD C1 - C1 - 375	BIG TIME TINK (1) - tightened entering the bend, appearing to contact the rail and lose ground. Out of contention thereafter. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. BIG TIME GOAT (3) - inconvenienced shortly after the start losing ground. Unable to improve to the inside of ALLEGRO LOVE in the home straight, losing momentum as a result. ALLEGRO LOVE (4) - bumped and dictated inwards shortly after the start, inconveniencing BIG TIME GOAT and tightening BIG TIME TINK as a result. BIG TIME ADISON (5) - began awkwardly bumping ALLEGRO LOVE and dictating that runner inwards. ALLEGRO KANE (7) - slow away. PAVING WAY (8) - raced wide throughout.
Race 9	$15,000 Sprint Feature Heats Here Oct. 7th C2 - C2 - 375	CLAWS IN CREED was a late scratching at kenneling. ALLEGRO WRIGGLES (1) - moved up the track shortly after the start bumping HIGHVIEW TOBY. Tightened entering the bend losing ground. Bumped UNCLE ALBERT entering the bend. Raced wide at various stages. DENUTO (3) - jostled with AL'S LOADED for a short distance entering the home straight. HIGHVIEW TOBY (4) - bumped shortly after the start. Tightened ALLEGRO WRIGGLES entering the bend. UNCLE ALBERT (6) - bumped entering the bend, losing some ground. Continued to drift thereafter. Referred to the OTV and found to have pain over his right triceps with a 10 day stand down recommended. AL'S LOADED (7) - jostled with DENUTO for a short distance entering the home straight.

Race 11	Thanks and Farewell Ange Adamson C3 - C3 - 375	BIG TIME STAR (1) - moved up the track nearing the bend squeezing BIG TIME RITA and bumping KIRKBY. Raced wide through the home straight. MONEY TRAIL (3) - slow away. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend losing some momentum as a result. Jostled, briefly, with BIG TIME SCOOTER nearing the winning post. BIG TIME RITA (4) - squeezed shortly after the start losing some ground. KIRKBY (6) - dictated inwards, squeezing BIG TIME RITA. SHOT OF CLASS (7) - bumped at the start, dictating KIRKBY inwards. BIG TIME SCOOTER (8) - began awkwardly bumping SHOT OF CLASS. Jostled, briefly, with MONEY TRAIL nearing the winning post.
