1) L Cole kennel representative Mr. B Cole advised Stewards that BIG TIME VERSACE (race 11) had undergone x-rays which confirmed a left hock fracture.

General:

1) FROSTY ANNE (D Denbee) was subjected to a post qualifying trial swab.

BIG TIME POLO (2) - went up with the lids settling at the rear of the field. Bumped nearing the winning post. BIG TIME MOONY (3) - bumped shortly after the start. Tightened and had to switch across heels nearing the winning post, moving up the track and dictating BIG TIME BRIELLE as a result. SHAUN THE CHASER (4) - bumped BIG TIME MOONEY shortly after the start. Slight contact from behind nearing the bend. Tightened BIG TIME MOONEY nearing the winning post when crossing to the lead. ALLEGRO WINDY (6) - contacted SHAUN THE CHASER from behind nearing the bend, then contacted BIG TIME DREAM. Coursed wide entering the home straight. BIG TIME DREAM (7) - contacted nearing the bend, in turn contacted ALLEGRO TORI. Bumped BIG TIME POLO nearing the winning post. ALLEGRO TORI (8) - slow away. Contacted nearing the bend.
Race 2	Greyhound As Pets PBD C1 - C1 - 375	ALLEGRO BARREL (1) - contacted and dictated inwards entering the bend, contacting the rail and losing ground. Raced wide entering the home straight. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. BIG TIME LOST (2) - dictated inwards, in turn dictated ALLEGRO BARREL entering the bend, then placed in restricted room losing ground. THRILLING TEMPER (3) - tightened at the start, losing ground. BIG TIME AUDI (4) - tightened THRILLING TEMPER at the start. Dictated BIG TIME LOST inwards shortly after the start. Placed in restricted room entering the bend contacting KIOSK from behind and losing ground. Buffeted KIOSK through the bend. KIOSK (6) - contacted from behind entering the bend. Buffeted through the bend and unable to make ground as a result.
Race 3	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C0 - C0 - 457	BIG TIME FOXY was a late scratching at kenneling when in season. BIG TIME STICKER (2) - moved up the track entering the bend becoming unbalanced and losing ground. Appeared slightly awkward in her action thereafter. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. Kennel representative Mr. B Cole advised Stewards that he would monitor BIG TIME STICKER and notify Stewards should any anomaly come to light in the coming days. JILLIBY ROB (3) - squeezed SILLY JOKE nearing the bend, then bumped BIG TIME SLAY. Raced wide through the home straight. SILLY JOKE (7) - began awkwardly. Squeezed between runners nearing the bend, losing some ground. BIG TIME SLAY (8) - squeezed SILLY JOKE nearing the bend, then bumped.
Race 4	Total Bodyshop Supplies PBD C1 - C1 - 375	BIG TIME GOAT (2) - began awkwardly. Contacted from behind entering the bend. OPAWA TRUMP (6) - contacted BIG TIME GOAT from behind entering the bend, becoming unbalanced and losing some momentum as a result. BIG TIME CHALKY (7) - raced wide through the bend and home straight. KING KOBE (8) - slow away.
Race 5	Big Barrel Palmerston North C1 - C1 - 457	XANTHONE (3) - bumped nearing the home straight, becoming unbalanced, moving up the track and dictating BIG TIME BASHFUL wider as a result. Continued to race wide through the home straight. BIG TIME ROMAN (6) - improved to the inside of XANTHONE nearing the home straight, bumping that runner. BIG TIME BASHFUL (7) - dictated up the track nearing the home straight and obliged to race wide thereafter. SOCIAL VIRTIGO (8) - raced wide through the back straight.
Race 6	Greyhounds Make Great Pets C5 - C5 - 375	BIG TIME NALA (1) - bumped entering the bend. Awkwardly placed on heels through the bend and unable to improve. BIG TIME VIOLET (4) - bumped BIG TIME NALA entering the bend. PORTELLI PUNK (5) - slow away. Raced wide for the majority of the event.
Race 7	Premier Meeting @ Palmerston Nth 14th October C5 - C5 - 457	EASY DOES IT (1) - tightened MANILA RAW entering the bend. MANILA RAW (2) - began awkwardly. Bumped and buffeted inwards shortly after the start. Tightened entering the bend needing to switch across heels to gain clear racing room, shunting BIG TIME KAYLEE up the track. MUSTANG CHARLIE (4) - buffeted MANILA RAW inwards shortly after the start. BIG TIME KAYLEE (7) - shunted up the track entering the bend, losing considerable ground and out of contention thereafter.
Race 8	Federal Morgan At Stud C4 - C4 - 457	FREEDOM LEAGUE (5) - raced in restricted room entering the bend, losing ground as a result. BIG TIME REWARD (6) - slow away. MAD WORLD (7) - raced wide for the majority of the event. WONDER WOMEN (8) - slow away.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C3 - C3 - 457	STAY CONNECTED (1) - began awkwardly settling at the rear of the field. Bumped nearing the home straight. BIG TIME ODETTE (3) - moved up the track shortly after the start dictating ALLEGRO PIPPA's running line. ALLEGRO PIPPA (4) - dictated up the track shortly after the start, in turn forcing BIG TIME RIPPER wider. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend and unable to improve until the point of the bend. BIG TIME RIPPER (6) - forced up the track shortly after the start bumping BIG TIME HUGO as a result. Buffeted entering the bend. Coursed wide entering the home straight. BIG TIME HUGO (7) - bumped shortly after the start. Coursed wide entering the home straight. CLAWS IN RAMBO (8) - buffeted BIG TIME RIPPER entering the bend. Bumped STAY CONNECTED nearing the home straight.
Race 10	TAB NZ - No Deductions, No Surprises C3/C4 - C3/4 - 375	BIG TIME HARMONY (1) - tightened entering the bend, losing ground as a result. Awkwardly placed entering the home straight needing to switch across heels to gain clear racing room. CLAWS IN COBRA (2) - tightened BIG TIME HARMONY entering the bend. Bumped ALLEGRO GINNY shortly after entering the home straight. BIG TIME GWYN (3) - bumped shortly after the start. Tightened and shunted sideways entering the bend appearing to contact the rail. Referred to the OTV and found to have a spike wound with a 3 day stand down recommended. BIG TIME PIKEY (4) - placed in restricted room entering the bend, needing to switch across heels to gain clear racing room, checking DRUNKEN LULLABY as a result. Raced wide through the bend and home straight. ALLEGRO GINNY (5) - bumped shortly after the start, in turn bumped BIG TIME GWYN. Tightened entering the bend. Raced in restricted room through the bend, becoming unbalanced and contacting BIG TIME KATY. Bumped shortly after entering the home straight. BIG TIME KATY (6) - bumped ALLEGRO GINNY shortly after the start. Tightened runners to her inside entering the bend, then contacted soon after losing ground. BEES AND BIRDS (7) - raced wide for the majority of the event. DRUNKEN LULLABY (8) - checked entering the bend losing ground. Referred to the OTV and found to have a spike wound with a 3 day stand down recommended.
Race 11	Dog Speed on SENZ 12pm Sunday C3 - C3 - 375	CHOICE SISTER was a late scratching at kenneling when in season. BIG TIME RUA (2) - began awkwardly. ALLEGRO MOOCHI (3) - awkwardly placed between runners entering the bend losing ground. OPAWA GYPSY (4) - placed in restricted room entering the bend losing momentum. OPAWA LIGHTNING (5) - began awkwardly bumping BIG TIME RAINBOW. BIG TIME RAINBOW (7) - bumped at the start. Raced wide for the majority of the event.
