Race 1	Follow Waikato Greyhounds on Facebook Sprint - C0 - 375	Stewards delayed the all clear until they were satisfied that no greyhound was denied a fair start after the lure took longer than prescribed to reach the starting boxes once the green light was activated. SWEET REWARDS (5) - slow early. KAPAI LISA (7) - lost ground with the field rounding the bend. Coursed wide exiting the bend before faltering and becoming awkward in its gait. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a tor right gracilis with a 42 day incapacitation issued. Must trial prior to resuming.
Race 2	Mayhounds Greyhound Rehoming Group PBD Sprint - C1 - 375	ALEXIS ROSE (1) - began awkwardly settling last. BARREL MAKER (2) - weakened late in the run home. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. BIG TIME MOSSY (4) - contacted from the outside early stages. GO EVE (5) - crowded early stages being forced to shift off heels. START BAILING (7) - shouldered with DOUBLE HEADER on jumping before shifting down the track and racing on the hindquarters of BIG TIME MOSSY. DOUBLE HEADER (8) - shouldered with START BAILING on jumping.
Race 3	The Shoe Box Appeal Stakes - C3 - 457	LUCCA (3) - shifted up the track early stages. ANGELICA (4) - checked off heels early stages.
Race 4	Garrards Horse & Hound Sprint - C4 - 375	YOU READY BOOTS (1) - crowded and lost ground entering the bend. ZOE STAR (3) - shifted up the track rounding the bend losing ground. Continued to lose ground rapidly thereafter. Referred to the Veterinarian and clear of injury. Stood down for 28 days for Failing To Pursue the Lure and pending a satisfactory trial. KETTLE POT (4) - collided with LETHAL ANGEL early stages. ZIPPING AUBRY (5) - placed in restricted room early stages. Raced on the hindquarters of SMASH MISFIT exiting the bend. LETHAL ANGEL (7) - collided with KETTLE POT early stages. SMASH MISFIT (8) - hindquarters raced on exiting the bend.
Race 5	Paws-a-While Homestay for Hounds Sprint - C3 - 375	THRILLING HERBIE (1) - hindquarters raced on early stages. Shouldered with ROCK IT RED prior to the finish. WHEELHOUSE (2) - crowded early stages racing on the hindquarters of THRILLING HERBIE as a consequence. PORTLAND JAKE (3) - crowded early stages. COOLIBAH KID (4) - raced in restricted room early stages. ROCK IT RED (8) - shouldered with THRILLING HERBIE prior to the finish line.
Race 6	Virkon*S Disinfectant R/O PBD Sprint - C1 - 375	OPAWA MEG (1) - crowded rounding the bend. GINGER MASCARA (3) - coursed extremely wide throughout the run home. BLITZING STAR (6) - slow early stages. Uncompetitive thereafter. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a hock sprain with a 28 day incapacitation issued. PORTLAND GRACE (7) - coursed extremely wide throughout the run home.
Race 7	CopRice Working Dog Chicken Sprint - C1/2 - 375	OPAWA BARRY (3) - hindquarters raced on early stages. GO CLIFFORD (5) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend. OPAWA ELEGANT (6) - raced in restricted room early stages. CANTON (9/4) - raced on the hindquarters of OPAWA BARRY early stages having to check inwards. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was treated for sand in its eye with a 7 day incapacitation issued.
Race 8	Mike Stent Decorators Ltd Stakes - C4/5 - 457	OPAWA ALBERT (1) - boxed first. SERBIAN ACE (4) - crowded early stages. UNO ME NOW (5) - hampered rounding the bend. BOY KEIDIS (6) - lost ground entering the bend when having its heels clipped by THRILLING HALLIE. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. THRILLING HALLIE (7) - clipped the heels of BOY KEIDIS entering the bend.
Race 9	Vetora Cambridge Sprint - C4/5 - 375	OPAWA LUKE (1) - crowded entering the bend.
Race 10	Affordable Pet Accessories Stakes - C1/2 - 457	THRILLING REGGIE (4) - collided with ISAMBARD early stages. Checked from behind approaching the bend. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend. Coursed extremely wide throughout the run home. ISAMBARD (6) - collided with THRILLING REGGIE early stages. Clipped heels approaching the bend. THRILLING CLARA (8) - coursed extremely wide throughout the run home.
