Crowded and obligated to check off heels entering the bend falling to the track as a consequence. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. MR MUGGINS (8) - shifted down the track early stages crowding inside runners. Shouldered with HICCUP HORRENDUS entering the bend before being hampered by SMASH JENANNE.

Raced on the heels of CHLOE WHAT rounding the bend. ROWDY'S REBEL (4) - slow early. HOMEBUSH MATTY (5) - lost ground after being awkwardly placed to the outside of BROKEN BONDS entering the bend. SHUT OUT (6) - awkwardly placed to the outside of HOMEBUSH BENJI entering the bend.
Race 3	Dave Robbie Photographer stakes - C0 - 520	OPAWA GLEN (3) - turned its head outwards towards CHANCE TO SHINE rounding the first bend marring this runner and forcing it and itself to leave the track. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Stood down for 28 days and pending a satisfactory trial for Marring. FRED'S GREY WAY (7) - came up with lid and awkward out of the boxes. CHANCE TO SHINE (8) - marred form the inside rounding the first bend being forced to leave the track. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury.

EAT SO MUCH (6) - slow early. GOLDSTAR JERICHO (8) - slow early. MAGICAL MARTHA (9/1) - crowded and lost ground entering the bend.
Race 6	Cawbourne Brick at Stud Stakes - C0 - 520	OPAWA PUTIN (1) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the first bend. OPAWA JESS (6) - checked from behind entering the first bend. OPAWA SNOWDROP (7) - raced on the hindquarters of NAIL IT entering the first bend. NAIL IT (8) - hindquarters raced on entering the first bend.

Stewards queried the run of this greyhound with Kennel representative J McInerney Jnr who advised it would be restricted to sprint racing in the near future.
Race 8	christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Sprint - C2 - 295	ADOBE POPPETS (1) - crowded and obligated to check entering the bend. HOMEBUSH MAKAYLA (2) - crowded and lost ground entering the bend. HOMEBUSH JETHRO (4) - checked and lost ground entering the bend. DIAMOND NEENA (5) - contacted from the outside early stages. YOSHI MOON (6) - forced down onto DIAMOND NEENA early stages. Hindquarters raced on in the run to the bend. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend coursing wide as a consequence. HOMEBUSH VALDEN (7) - forced YOSHI MOON down onto DIAMOND NEENA early stages. Raced on the hindquarters of YOSHI MOON in the run to the bend. Raced in tight quarters rounding the bend.
