1) Trainer Mrs. K Lincoln-Papuni reported to Stewards that THRILLING TEMPER had received a dew claw injury subsequent to racing at this meeting necessitating his withdrawal from Palmerston North GRC on 18 November 2022.

BIG TIME PUNGA (6) - very slow away, and out of contention as a result. LOVE RACE (8) - raced wide through the home straight.
Race 2	Big Barrel Palmerston North C2 - C2 - 375	DEFER FIRE (1) - slight contact from behind entering the bend. Placed in restricted room on the point of the bend appearing to contact the rail and lose ground. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. CHECK ME OUT (2) - contacted entering the bend. BIG TIME AUDI (3) - contacted DEFER FIRE from behind entering the bend. Placed in restricted room on the point of the bend. ALLEGRO LOVE (4) - contacted entering the bend, in turn checking BIG TIME STAR. Placed runners to her inside in restricted room on the point of the bend, losing ground as a result. Unbalanced and heavily contacted the rail entering the home straight. Referred to the OTV and found to have a minor spike wound with no stand down required. LIBERTY TAKER (6) - slow away. Raced wide at various stages throughout. BIG TIME STAR (7) - checked entering the bend becoming very unbalanced and losing ground. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. BIG TIME ROVER (8) - slow away. Awkwardly placed and unbalanced nearing the home straight.
Race 3	Dog Speed on SENZ 12pm Sunday C1/C2 - C1/2 - 457	THRILLING LEDGER (2) - raced wide through the home straight. Muzzle came adrift through the latter stages of the event which did not affect his chances. BIG TIME BASHFUL (4) - raced wide through the home straight. GRASSCUTTER JOE (5) - bumped GO ROYCE at the start. GO ROYCE (6) - bumped at the start, in turn bumping HE'S ICONIC, losing ground as a result. HE'S ICONIC (7) - bumped at the start, losing ground. Raced wide through the back straight.
Race 4	$20,000 720m Distance Feature Here 2nd December C3 - C3 - 457	BIG TIME HUGO (1) - bumped MR HOLYFIELD shortly after the start. Tightened and lost ground nearing the bend. Jostled, briefly, with MR HOLYFIELD entering the bend, then bumped that runner. Tangled with GO ALBINO when attempting to improve to the inside of that runner on the point of the bend. Raced wide through the home straight. MR. HOLYFIELD (2) - bumped and shifted up the track shortly after the start. Jostled, briefly, with BIG TIME HUGO entering the bend, then bumped and lost ground. THRILLING BANDIT (3) - tightened BIG TIME HUGO nearing the bend. BIG TIME KAYLEE (4) - raced wide through the home straight. NOT EVEN OWL (6) - tightened entering the bend, needing to switch across heels, contacting GO ALBINO from behind and falling. Regained his feet and completed the event. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. Stood down for 5 days under the provisions of GRNZ Rule 56A(1). GO ALBINO (7) - tightened NOT EVEN OWL entering the bend, then contacted from behind. Tangled with BIG TIME HUGO on the point of the bend when that runner attempted to improve to her inside, falling as a result. Regained her feet and completed the event. Referred to the OTV and and stood down for 7 days. CAREY STREET (8) - slow away, then angled inwards to gain clear racing room shortly after the start.
Race 5	$15,000 Sprint Feature Final Here 2nd December C4/C5 - C4/5 - 375	Stewards inspected the area of track entering the bend after the winning post after BIG TIME NALA faltered free of interference sustaining a fractured right hock and found it satisfactory to continue racing. RITZA ALERT (1) - shouldered with LAR GRAND WYLDE nearing the winning post. BIG TIME KATY (2) - tightened entering the bend losing ground. BIG TIME LOVELY (3) - squeezed between runners entering the home straight, becoming unbalanced and shifting up the track. BIG TIME NALA (4) - awkwardly placed nearing the bend losing some momentum. Contacted, and dragged from behind entering the bend, losing ground. Faltered entering the bend after the winning post, contacting BIG TIME RAINBOW. Referred to the OTV and found to have a right hock fracture.The Greyhound was transported immediately to GRNZ's contracted Veterinary Clinic for treatment with this to be followed up in the coming days. A 90 day stand down was recommended and the Greyhound must trial prior to racing again. BIG TIME RAINBOW (5) - placed in restricted room nearing the bend. Contacted BIG TIME NALA from behind entering the bend, losing momentum as a result. BLAZIN' CAROLYN (6) - placed runners to her inside in restricted room nearing the bend. Unbalanced entering the home straight, squeezing BIG TIME LOVELY. LAR GRAND WYLDE (7) - began awkwardly. Squeezed BIG TIME LOVELY entering the home straight. Shouldered RITZA ALERT nearing the winning post.
Race 6	TAB NZ - No Deductions, No Surprises C4 - C4 - 457	BRAD MAYO (2) - awkward off the mats, settling at the rear of the field. Raced wide through the home straight. GOLDEN LOGGER (7) - buffeted and contacted the rail on the point the bend, continued to be buffeted through the latter stages of the bend. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. HIGHVIEW RADAR (8) - buffeted GOLDEN LOGGER through the bend
Race 7	$30,000 457m Feature Final Here 2nd December C5 - C5 - 457	FEDERAL INFRARED (5) - began very awkwardly, settling at the rear of the field. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend, losing some ground. Unable to improve thereafter. Referred to the OTV and found to have a minor spike wound with no stand down required. BIG TIME RIPPER (8) - raced wide through the home straight.
Race 8	Greyhounds Make Great Pets PBD C1 - C1 - 410	OPAWA MAX late scratching on veterinary advice when being retrieved from the kennels prior to racing. No racing incidents to report.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C2/C3 - C2/3 - 375	BIG TIME VIOLET (1) - slight contact from behind nearing the bend. Improved onto heels nearing the home straight and momentarily held up. GOTCHA COOPER (2) - slight contact from behind shortly after the start. Contacted CLAWS IN CREED nearing the home straight. BIG TIME CHARM (3) - dictated inwards shortly after the start, contacting GOTCHA COOPER from behind. Tightened entering the home straight. SHAUN THE CHASER (4) - began awkwardly, dictating BIG TIME CHARM inwards. Moved up the track to race wide entering the bend, bumping ALLEGRO PIPPA, then raced wide through home straight. ALLEGRO PIPPA (5) - bumped entering the bend, in turn bumping TRUTH HURTS. Tightened BIG TIME CHARM entering the home straight. CLAWS IN CREED (6) - contacted and unbalanced nearing the home straight, moving wider on the track as a result. HIGHVIEW ANNA (7) - began awkwardly bumping TRUTH HURTS. TRUTH HURTS (8) - bumped at the start, then again entering the bend. Coursed wide entering the home straight.
Race 10	Greyhounds, World's Fastest Couch Potatoes C2/C3 - C2/3 - 375	XANTHONE (3) - bumped and unbalanced nearing the home straight. BIG TIME LOST (4) - slow away. Improved onto heels entering the bend contacting BIG TIME OREO from behind, becoming unbalanced and losing ground. Out of contention thereafter. BIG TIME MASKED (5) - contacted from behind shortly after the start. BIG TIME OREO (6) - dictated inwards shortly after the start, contacting BIG TIME MASKED from behind. Contacted from behind entering the bend, losing some ground as a result. Coursed wide entering the home straight. CLAWS IN COBRA (7) - slow away. Bumped XANTHONE nearing the home straight. Raced wide through the home straight. HIGHVIEW TOBY (8) - dictated BIG TIME OREO inwards shortly after the start.
Race 11	Federal Morgan At Stud C4 - C4 - 375	BIG TIME MOONY (1) - raced wide through the latter stages of the home straight. MAD WORLD (3) - raced wide at various stages throughout. SHOT OF CLASS (4) - appeared awkward in his action shortly after leaving the mats, finishing some distance last. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. When questioned with regards to performance kennel representative Mr. W Morris advised Stewards that he was disappointed with the effort. Mr. Morris further advised that it was the kennels intention to give SHOT OF CLASS a brief freshen up and trial prior to racing again. KIRKBY (5) - bumped at the start. BIG TIME RUA (6) - went up with the lids, settling towards the rear of the field. Attempted to improve into a marginal gap on the point of the bend, needing to switch outwards and across heels to gain clear racing room, contacting DRUNKEN LULLABY and dictating THRILLING MAPLE wider as a result. THRILLING MAPLE (7) - began awkwardly, bumping KIRBY. Dictated very wide entering the home straight. DRUNKEN LULLABY (8) - contacted nearing the home straight.
