Race 2	Nightrave Rehoming Agency for Greyhounds Sprint - C3 - 375	RAMBLIN' HARDY (10/7) - referred to the Veterinarian after sustaining a check on jumping losing ground as a consequence and cleared of injury.
Race 3	CopRice Working Dog Beef Stakes - C3 - 457	THRILLING BANDIT (4) - referred to the Veterinarian at the request of trainer K Lincoln-Papuni after she expressed disappointment with the greyhound's effort where it was reported to have triceps and gluteal soreness on palpation with a 10 day incapacitation issued.
Race 4	Clubhouse Cambridge Distance - C2d - 650
Race 5	Garrards Horse & Hound Sprint - C4 - 375	Due to a communication breakdown not all greyhounds were afforded the opportunity to participate in the Stir Up. As a consequence, Stewards directed that all non-Stir Up greyhounds be removed from the Stir up area for a second Stir up to take place. This resulted in the scheduled start time for this race be amended to 6.05pm. ALLEGRO BANDIT (1) - referred to the Veterinarian after sustaining a check entering the bend and cleared of injury. GO IVY (2) - referred to the Veterinarian after being dragged down entering the bend where it was reported to have sore left wrist on flexion, graze over left hind toe with a 10 day incapacitation issued. BIG TIME HINDA (3) - referred to the Veterinarian after sustaining a check entering the bend where it was reported to have sore left wrist on flexion with a 14 day incapacitation issued. CAPPIELLO (5) - referred to the Veterinarian after being dragged down entering the bend where it was reported to have swollen left hind sesamoid and sore on flexion with a 14 day incapacitation issued. BIG TIME MOONY (6) - referred to the Veterinarian after sustaining a check entering the bend and cleared of injury.
Race 6	Thrilling Brat Distance Final - C2df - 747	SOLDIER BLUE (8) - referred to the Veterinarian after receiving a slight bump then becoming awkward in it's action shortly after the start losing ground with the field thereafter and eventually pulling up where it was reported to have biceps and quadriceps muscle soreness with a 10 day incapacitation issued. Stewards will monitor SOLDIER BLUE's future starts.

Race 8	Waikato Cup Final - C5f - 457
Race 9	Fast & Fabulous Sprint Final - SPECf - 375	PADDY FIELD (3) - presented to the Veterinarian at trainers request where it was reported to have sore right pin muscle with a 10 day incapacitation issued. NO OVERTIME (8) - presented to the Veterinarian at trainers request after showing signs of soreness post race where it was reported to have a fractured left hind toe with a 42 day incapacitation issued. Greyhound must trial prior to racing again.
Race 10	Waikato Classic (Group 2) Final - R/Af - 457	WRIT LARGE(1) - was a late scratching at 7.50am after being found to have front left wrist soreness after being emptied out. Stewards delayed the 'All Clear' until they viewed the films in order to establish that WHO'S JEALOUS(7) and THRILLING DOZER(8) had or had not been prevented from participating on equal terms with other starters in an Event. After viewing all available films, it was established that the outside box latch had not been correctly secured and as a consequence this enabled both greyhounds to push the lids forward prior to them being activated as they both anticipated the start resulting in them being prevented from participating on equal terms with Stewards declaring both greyhounds' non-runners as per GRNZ Rule 110(2)(a). Stewards spoke with Starter L Hore and reminded him of his obligations to ensure the boxes are correctly secured in future.
Race 11	Cannonball Sprint Final - SPECf - 375	MINT AS(7) - was a late scratching after being found to be lame in it's right hind prior to being transported to the course. This race was delayed due to the late payment of dividends from the previous event.
Race 12	Mayhounds Greyhound Rehoming Group Stakes - C5 - 457	BIG TIME HANK (4) - referred to the Veterinarian after sustaining a check in the initial stages and cleared of injury. CLAWS IN ZORRO (5) - referred to the Veterinarian after sustaining a check in the initial stages and cleared of injury.
