1) Stewards followed up with trainer Ms. M Clark with regards to the recovery of LAST SURPRISE (race 5) with Ms. Clark advising that she had precautionary x-rays taken which did not reveal any fractures.

Stand Downs:

1) REPLICA REBEL (C Morris) - race 1, failing to pursue (first offence) stood down 28 days and to complete satisfactory trial.

Injury Trials Required:

1) OPAWA LOIS LANE (C Morris) - race 10.

Stood down for 28 days and pending a satisfactory trial as per GRNZ Rule 124 and 127 (a). HIGHVIEW NESS (5) - referred to the Veterinarian after receiving interference shortly after the start, losing ground and out of contention thereafter and cleared of injury. OLD PAL (8) - presented to the Veterinarian at trainers request after showing signs of soreness at the wash bay and cleared of injury.

Race 3	Greyhounds Make Great Pets C2 375m - C2 - 375	TWO PATCHES JET (2) - referred to the Veterinarian after being slow away, then improving to the inside of THRILLING ELSIE entering the bend and tangling with that runner, becoming unbalanced, losing ground and cleared of injury. THRILLING ELSIE (3) - fell entering the bend when tangling with inside runner. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Stood down for the mandatory 5 days as per GRNZ Rule 41A(1) SWEET LUELLA (4) - referred to the Veterinarian after being hampered by TWO PATCHES JET shortly after entering the bend and cleared of injury.

Race 10	Big Barrel Palmerston North C1 457m - C1 - 457	OPAWA LOIS LANE (1) - appeared to receive a check shortly after the winning post, becoming short in her action. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a fractured right hock. The Greyhound was transported immediately to GRNZ's contracted Veterinary Clinic for treatment with this being followed up in the coming days. A 90 day incapacitation has been issued and the Greyhound must trial prior to racing again.

Race 12	Sportz Bar Wanganui C4/5 410m - C4/5 - 410	BIG TIME BASHFUL (6) - presented to the Veterinarian at trainers after showing signs of soreness when returning to the kennel block where it was reported to have pain on flexion left wrist with a 7 day incapacitation issued.
