1) Stewards followed up with the recovery of OPAWA LOIS LANE (race 10) and were advised the Greyhound had X-rays and CT scan of the right hock which confirmed a fracture and underwent surgery before being transferred to GRNZ's RTR facility for rehabilitation.

Late Scratchings:

Race 8	President's Dash C1 305m - C1 - 305	TORQUE IN TORQUE (1) - referred to the Veterinarian after being tightened, then appearing to contact the rail nearing the bend, losing ground where it was reported to have mild sand burn right front and a left hind spike wound with a 3 day incapacitation issued. BIG TIME PORTER (4) - referred to the Veterinarian after being contacted from behind entering the bend, then again on the point of the bend, losing ground and cleared of injury.
Race 9	Lance Green Accountant C5 520m - C5 - 520	BRIGHTON WAVE (4) - referred to the Veterinarian after beginning awkwardly, then contacted from behind shortly after the start and cleared of injury.

Race 11	Property Brokers Floyd & Toy Real Estate C5 305m - C5 - 305	BIG TIME RAZOR (1) - referred to the Veterinarian after an incident at the lure and cleared of injury. ALLEGRO SMUDGE (7) - buffeted for a distance through the back straight, then contacted entering the bend, becoming unbalanced, checking an outside runner and falling. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a fractured left hock. The Greyhound was transported immediately to GRNZ's contracted Veterinary Clinic for treatment with this being followed up in the coming days. A 90 day incapacitation has been issued and the Greyhound must trial prior to racing again. BIG TIME SONIC (8) - referred to the Veterinarian after being severely checked and unbalanced entering the bend and cleared of injury.
Race 12	Sportz Bar Wanganui C3/C4 305m - C3/4 - 305	BIG TIME BATTLE (3) - referred to the Veterinarian after becoming tangled with trailing runners nearing the home straight, becoming unbalanced, losing ground as a result and cleared of injury. OPAWA JASON (8) - presented to the Veterinarian at trainers request after having blood present on the right front foot on returning to the kennel block where it was reported to have a laceration right front toe with a 7 day incapacitation issued.
