1) Trainer Mr. R Waite applied to Stewards pursuant with Rule 41(5) to have FINAL TWIST examined by an officiating veterinarian to determine whether or not the Greyhound is free of injury. FINAL TWIST was found to be not suffering from an injury with the stand down imposed at this meeting revoked pursuant with Rule 41(6). FINAL TWIST was required to provide a sample of urine for the purpose of analysis.

Race 2	Lance Green Accountant C1 520m - C1 - 520	BIG TIME HILARY (5) - referred to the Veterinarian after beginning awkwardly, appearing to contact the side of the boxes as the start was effected and cleared of injury. MOW COW (8) - referred to the Veterinarian after being squeezed between runners entering the back straight, losing ground as a result and cleared of injury.

Due to the malfunction the judge declared a dead heat for third placing basedo on the Stewards video footage and his own observations.
Race 10	Sportz Bar Wanganui C1 305m - C1 - 305	ELUSIVE ALIBI (3) - got his foot entangled in the grill of the starting boxes prior to the start being effected and was prevented from taking an effective part in a race. Stewards declared the greyhound a non-starter due to being denied a fair start due to an extraordinary circumstance pursuant with GRNZ Rule 110(2)(b). Underwent a post race veterinary examination, including assessment of toe nails and cleared of injury.
