General:

1). The investigation into handler Y Castro's conduct at the Waikato GRC meeting on April 18, 2024, has concluded. Ms. Castro was charged under GRNZ Rule 156(g) for willfully using foul and abusive language towards Senior Steward Ms. P Kinsey. Ms Castro admitted the charge and at a penalty hearing held at Manukau Stadium on the 2nd June 2024 the Adjudicative Committee imposed the following penalty: 2 months suspension of Ms Castros Handlers Licence, wholly suspended for 4 months pending no further breaches of this rule within the next 4 months. In addition to the suspended sentence Ms Castro was fined the sum of $1200.00.

2). Selected greyhounds completing solo training trials were subjected to Out of Competition testing.
