PORTLAND BEN (8) - Stewards queried the performance of this greyhound after running wide and off the track in the final straight. After considering the submissions tendered by co-trainer T Craik, a veterinary examination which revealed no clinical abnormalities and the Stewards own observations the performance was deemed unsatisfactory. The greyhound was stood down from racing at Cambridge raceway pending a trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to racing at this track as per GRNZ Rule LR 132A. |
