Supplementary Report - Wanganui GRC 28 June 2024

1). GOLDSTAR OPAL (R Evans) is now at the local RTR centre after x-rays confirmed a fractured hock with surgery having taken place on the weekend.

2). X-rays taken from LUDLOW LAD (M Goodier) confirmed a strain of a wrist with no fracture.

1). TIRA MISS YOU (L Cole) - Race 10.

Stand Down:

1). GOLDSTAR BLONDIE (R Evans) - for an unsatisfactory performance in Race 1.

After considering the submissions tendered by Mr Evans, a veterinary examination which revealed no clinical abnormalities and the Stewards own observations the performance was deemed unsatisfactory and the Greyhound was stood down pending a trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion as per GRNZ Rule 132(A)(1)
Race 2	Paul Claridge Electrical C1 457m - C1 - 457	SPACE BROCKIE (1) - referred to the Veterinarian after stumbling in the early stages and cleared of injury.

Race 4	Whanganui House Washing Reverse Criteria C1 375m - C1 - 375	GOLDSTAR WALKER (3) - referred to the Veterinarian after losing ground when checked in the home straight and reported to have a left wrist strain with a 7 day incapacitation issued. CLAWS IN MAXIMUS (7) - referred to the Veterinarian after being badly checked on the bend and reported to have gracilis soreness with a 7 day incapacitation issued.
