1) Trainer Ms. M Clark advised Stewards CLIFF TOP BANGER (race 12) was showing signs of soreness the following day, with X-Rays taken revealing a right side, central tarsal fracture. Ms. Clark further advised that it was her intention at this stage to have the Greyhound operated on and rehabilitated at her kennels. Received a 90 day period of incapacitation and required to trial prior to racing next.

Race 2	The TAB Dog C0 305m - C0 - 305	BLUE ACHIEVER (6) - referred to the Veterinarian after receiving interference on multiple occasions through the early stages, appearing awkward in his action thereafter where it was reported to have right gracilis muscle injury with a 60 incapacitation issued. Required to trial prior to racing again. EVELYN'S ANNIE (8) - referred to the Veterinarian after being contacted, and buffeted sideways entering the bend and cleared of injury.
Race 3	Property Brokers Floyd,Toy & Jonas Real Estate C1 305m - C1 - 305	BIG TIME MAESTRO (6) - referred to the Veterinarian after beginning awkwardly contacting an outside runner and cleared of injury. SWEET RED (7) - presented to the Veterinarian at trainers request after having blood present on the right front foot post race where it was reported to have a minor laceration on the right front stopper pad with a 3 day incapacitation issued. DIRTY DENZEL (8) - referred to the Veterinarian after receiving a check entering the home straight and cleared of injury.
Race 4	Moore Law Whanganui C1 520m - C1 - 520	RECKLESS ERIC (2) - when questioned into a perceived improved performance, trainer Mr. M Goodier was of the opinion that RECKLESS ERIC had benefited from recent racing on the Wanganui Straight Track, along with having a clear run in tonight's event. ARROW (4) - began awkwardly, then contacted from behind entering first bend. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have right hock fracture. The Greyhound was transported immediately to GRNZ's contracted Veterinary Clinic for treatment with this being followed up in the coming days. A 90 day incapacitation has been issued and the Greyhound must trial prior to racing again. BEAUTIFUL BALOO (6) - referred to the Veterinarian after beginning awkwardly, then contacting ARROW from behind entering the first bend and cleared of injury.
Race 5	Sportz Bar Wanganui C5 305m - C5 - 305	BIG TIME KENZIE (5) - referred to the Veterinarian after an incident at the lure where it was reported to have hind spike wound with a 3 day incapacitation issued.
Race 6	Jolt Coffee House Wanganui Class 1 305m - C1 - 305	SANGRIA AFFAIR late scratching when vomiting enroute to the track.
Race 7	HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY KIM FRASER C2/3 520M - C2/3 - 520	ROCK IT RAPPER (5) - referred to the Veterinarian after an incident at the lure and cleared of injury. BIG TIME THAD (6) - referred to the Veterinarian after being dictated inwards, then squeezed between runners shortly after the start, losing ground as a result and cleared of injury.
