Race 14	Racing Again Monday 30 September Sprint - C3 - 295	ISMAY BALE (2) - Stewards queried the performance of this greyhound after it turned its head outwards in the back straight. After considering the submissions tendered by representative D Roberts, a veterinary examination which revealed no clinical abnormalities and the Stewards own observations the performance was deemed unsatisfactory, and the greyhound was stood down pending a trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion as per GRNZ Rule LR 132A. DALTON BAXTER (5) - faltered racing toward the first turn giving ground quickly. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have fractured the left hock. The Greyhound was transported immediately to GRNZ's contracted Veterinary Clinic for treatment with this being followed up in the coming days. A 90 day incapacitation has been issued and the Greyhound must trial prior to racing again.
Race 15	Head to Trackside.co.nz Dash - C2 - 295	HOMEBUSH ARI (2) - referred to the Veterinarian after brushing the rail rounding the bend and cleared of injury. GO STEPH (7) - referred to the Veterinarian after falling at the lure and cleared of injury. HOMEBUSH RETA (8) - referred to the Veterinarian by connections where it was reported to have a fractured tail with a 21 day incapacitation issued.
