1) Trainer J Foot reported that X-rays on OMATICAYA confirmed a fractured right hind Metatarsal with a 90 day incapacitation issued. Required to trial prior to resuming racing

Race 8	CopRice Working Dog Beef Sprint - C1 - 375	STOLEN SAPPHIRE (2) - contact and dragged down on the first turn. Stewards queried the performance of this greyhound with Co Trainer T Steele regarding its conduct in the run to the lure. After considering the submissions tendered by T Steele a veterinary examination which revealed no clinical abnormalities and the Stewards own observations including previous warnings the behavior was deemed unsatisfactory, and the greyhound was stood down pending a trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion as per GRNZ Rule131 (d). MILADY MELVA (5) - referred to the Veterinarian after contact with the rail rounding the first bend and cleared of injury.
