General:

1). Co-trainer J. Udy contacted the Stewards this morning, after the scratching deadline, to withdraw his racing team. Mr Udy expressed concerns that a bug affecting several greyhounds was observed mid-morning which could potentially spread to other kennels. Although not all greyhounds were affected, the Stewards agreed that, in the best interest of all kennels and greyhounds, it was prudent to allow the withdrawal of this team from today’s meeting.

Race 7	May Hounds Greyhound Rehoming Group Sprint - C1 - 318	SWEET AMBER JOY (1) was a late scratching at kenneling due to weighing over the 4 percent weight variance allowance. ALLEGRO KANE (6) - referred to the Veterinarian after faltering approaching the first turn giving ground then fell at the lure where it was reported to have torn the left gracilis with a 42 day incapacitation issued. Must trial prior to resuming with connections advising ALLEGRO KANE will be retired from racing.
