Race 2	NZ Cup Trackside Dining 14 November Dash - C0 - 295	HOMEBUSH ROCK (3) - fell to the track entering the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have pain to its right biceps with a 21-day incapacitation issued. DIAMOND FRANKIE (5) - referred to the Veterinarian after sustaining a check by the falling HOMEBUSH ROCK and cleared of injury.
Race 3	Head to Trackside.co.nz Dash - C0 - 295	GO REUBEN(5) - was a late scratching after presenting outside of the allowable weight variance. HOMEBUSH HEAVEN (2) - referred to the Veterinarian after being squeezed onto the running rail entering the bend and cleared of injury. GO HELEN (6) - referred to the Veterinarian after continuing to underperform and cleared of injury. Performance noted.
Race 4	kiwikiwihounds.co.nz Adoption Stakes - C1 - 525	OPAWA MEG(4) - was inadvertently scratched this morning by trainer - See Judicial. GO EVE (3) - was a late scratching when found to be in season this morning.
Race 5	The Brickworks Bar & Restaurant Sprint Final - C0f - 295	JINGLES DO WELL (3) - referred to the Veterinarian after being squeezed down onto the running rail where it was reported to have a right tensor fascia injury with a 10-day incapacitation issued. HOMEBUSH ROSA (6) - referred to the Veterinarian after being dragged down exiting the bend and cleared of injury.
Race 6	mayhounds.org.nz Rehoming Group Stakes - C2f - 525	EVEREST SKY (4) - referred to the Veterinarian after giving ground rapidly over the concluding stages and cleared of injury or ailment, however the probable cause of the greyhound giving ground was put down to cramping with this being monitored for the greyhounds future starts.
Race 7	American Warrior @ Stud Dash - C4 - 295	DOM BAXTER (8) - referred to the Veterinarian after sustaining a slight check entering the bend before appearing awkward in its gallop for a period thereafter losing ground where it was reported to have pain in its right tensor fascia muscle with a 10-day incapacitation issued.

Race 13	Rose & Thistle Sprint Heat 2 - C2q - 295 Heat 2	HOMEBUSH MAX (1) - fell to the track entering the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Stood down for the mandatory 5 days as per GRNZ Rule LR41A(1). HOMEBUSH ALEC (4) - referred to the Veterinarian after becoming awkward in its gallop for several strides rounding the bend losing ground where it was found to have lameness to its right sartorius muscle with a 10-day incapacitation issued. ROCKET QUEEN (5) - dragged down before falling to the track entering the bend failing to finish the event. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have sustained a compound fracture to its radius/ulna. Due to the catastrophic nature of the injury, the greyhound was humanely euthanized WHAT'S ON (6) - fell to the track entering the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a suspected right tarsal sprain with a 14-day incapacitation issued. Direction given to have x-rays in the coming days to rule out possible fracture , further stood down pending clear results. ***Trainer L Waretini reported to Stewards that x-rays taken from WHAT'S ON confirmed no fracture was present with the greyhound free to resume once its incapacitation period expires. (updated 25 September 2024) LIBELLE (7)** - fell to the track entering the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have sustained a wound to its right toe with a 10-day incapacitation issued.
