Trainer Ms. M Clark advised Stewards the Greyhound's racing future would be reassessed.

Race 3	The TAB Dog C1 313m - C1 - 313	BIG TIME BATTLE (1) - boxed first. Referred to the Veterinarian after being checked on two occasions shortly after the start, losing ground as a result and cleared of injury.
Race 4	Moore Law Whanganui C1 313m - C1 - 313	RIDGELINE ROCKER (8) - boxed first.
Race 5	Baldricks Cunning Plan C4/5 313m - C4/5 - 313
Race 6	Jolt Coffee House Wanganui Class 3 313m - C3 - 313	SHAUN THE CHASER (8) - fell shortly after the start, failing to complete the race. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a suspected spinal injury. The Greyhound was transported immediately to GRNZ's contracted Veterinary Clinic for treatment, including MRI scans with this being followed up in the coming days. A 90 day incapacitation has been issued and the Greyhound must trial prior to racing again.
Race 7	Sportz Bar Wanganui C2/3 313m - C2/3 - 313	BIG TIME POPPY (3) - referred to the Veterinarian after bumping with an inside runner on several occasions throughout, losing ground and where it was reported to have pain over left shoulder muscle with a 14 day incapacitation issued.
Race 8	Property Brokers Floyd,Toy & Jonas Real Estate C1 313m - C1 - 313	NIGHTHAWK SWIFT (5) - referred to the Veterinarian after receiving heavy contact shortly after the start and cleared of injury. RAGS TO RICHES (7) - referred to the Veterinarian after heavily contacting inside runner shortly after the start and cleared of injury.
