Race 9	Perera Rehoming Kennels Dash Heat 1 - C2q - 295 Heat 1	JUICE MASTER (1) - Stewards queried the performance of this greyhound with trainer M Roberts in particular the conduct it displayed exiting the bend. After considering the submissions tendered by Mr Roberts, a veterinary examination which revealed no clinical abnormalities and the Stewards own observations the performance was deemed unsatisfactory, and the greyhound was stood down pending a trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion as per GRNZ Rule LR 132A. ROSE PETAL (6) - referred to the Veterinarian after sustaining a check exiting the bend and cleared of injury. GO LOTTIE (7) - fell exiting the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have pain to its left elbow with a 28-day incapacitation issued. Trainer directed to have x-rays undertaken within 3 days with these to be reported back to Stewards.
Race 10	Perera Rehoming Kennels Dash Heat 2 - C2q - 295 Heat 2	WHAT'S ON (5) - referred to a veterinarian following an incident at the lure where it was reported to have severe neck pain. The bitch was transported to a local veterinary clinic, where it was x-rayed and diagnosed with a fractured vertebra. Due to the severity of the fracture, the greyhound was humanely euthanised GONE ASTRAY (6) - referred to the Veterinarian after losing ground with the feild concluding stages and cleared of injury.
