Race 2 | Peter Sinclair Photos Dash - C0 - 375 | POWER OF ZEN was slow to begin losing three lengths. MOANY'S RAILER and GOLDLASS made contact on the bend and they both lost ground at that point. |
Race 3 | GEON Wellington - C1 - 375 | HOMEBUSH BREE, THRILLING BLAST and THRILLING WEB collided on the first corner and all three lost ground with HOMEBUSH BREE and THRILLING WEB being the most affected and they lost several lengths and finished in the last two places with THRILLING BLAST not far ahead of them. |
Race 4 | Foxton Dash - C2 - 375 | THRILLING NICK ran in on the first corner and checked BACK AT YA who fell and HOMEBUSH DAPHNE was also checked in the incident and lost all chance of a placing. BACK AT YA was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with general bruising. |

Race 6 | Riverdale Sprint - C3 - 375 | CALYPSO RUMBLE was slow to begin losing three lengths but she then secured a clear rails run to make up ground and finished well for 2nd placing. |
Race 7 | Hokowhitu Dash - C4 - 375 | BOTANY ADAM lost ground in the run to the first corner when MISS ARKANSAS moved across towards the rail and took his line of running. |
Race 8 | Manawatu Raceway Sprint - C5 - 375 | GO ZILLA was handy to the first corner but was checked and went back and out causing checks to BENGINEER, SCOTT NO WIVES, BIGTIME SURVIVOR and MATANUSKA who all lost ground. MATANUSKA recovered well to win the race but the other three finished well back. |
Race 9 | www.racingdogs.co.nz 6 Pack - C3/4 - 457 | The favourite REALON RAZZLE had every chance but failed to race up to expectations and finished in last place. He was examined by the Vet as a precaution and stood down for 10 days with a gracilus injury. |
Race 10 | See You Next Monday - C2 - 457 | HORSE POWER and PURE FURY were both slow to begin losing three lengths. KID KOONAWARRA was checked and lost ground on the first corner. LAW'S HILL and GEOFF PHOENIX disputed the lead going into the bend but bumped on two occasions and GEOFF PHOENIX became unbalanced, was hit from behind by RUN FOR US and fell. PURE FURY was also badly hindered in the incident losing all chance. GEOFF PHOENIX was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury apart from minor abrasions. |
